"It Happens Every Spring" is on TCM from time to time.
Also: Brewster's Millions is a fun movie.

Good choice.
Just be sure to explain to your son what a nasty human the actress playing Doris is in real life.
When he gets older Cobb and Eight Men Out are good ones. Two of my favorites.

Not sure if you've invested in MLB.tv but that's a must for any baseball fan.

And I'd be careful on Bad News Bears, the original at least, or be prepared to mute the TV when the kid is explaining the ethnic diversity of his team. I worked at Circuit City in college and we had that movie on all the big screens because it is PG, and folks didn't appreciate it when we found out one of the kids uses the n-word and a mexican slur to describe his teammates.

Bull Durham. Throw him in the fire early

Moneyball. Make him smart early on.

Great movie but debatable if it's really a baseball movie.

Is "Million Dollar Arm" good?
It's ok but if you watch it you'll see why it was in an out of theaters so fast. It kind of felt like a well produced TV movie.

Bad News Bears, Bull Durham, and Major League ASAP

A solid chunk of this board would flip its shite over this movie for cramming SJW lib BS down our throats if it was released today. The first OP would be started by blueboy.
I don't know it for a fact, i just know it's true.

Little Big League
Rookie of the Year
Sandlot
Field of Dreams
The Rookie
All great choices for his age but be careful not to burn him out on baseball movies. Let one simmer in his mind for a while before showing him the next one.
