I couldn't make it through episode 3. I'll try again, but yeah I can see why.

I was hooked after the first episode, but my favorite scene of the entire show was when Walt goes to meet Tuco for the first time. Episode 6 of the first season.

Unless you are one yourself, tell him it will teach him new ways of getting rid of non-productive workers.

See Batman thread for more.

I've tried TWICE to watch the show. Nothing says "Come back and watch me." I just get bored with it quickly. It's not very challenging to watch. And it's not a guilty pleasure either. It's just...there. I suppose if there was nothing I wanted to watch I might watch it, but I'm also motivated to finish a few shows.

Maybe when I'm done with those.

Also, convince me. Why is it so good?

Tell him give it another chance, if still no then explode him with chemistry.

I don't know what to tell ya man. I just love everything about it...the completeness of the writing and characters, the story-telling, the acting, great villains, one of the best main characters on TV. In four plus seasons, there was one episode I didn't like. I think most of it's edge-of-your-seat stuff.

all of this. if you need someone to explain to you why breaking bad is awesome for you to be able to get into it, well, it's probably just not for you.

I trust you. I will try again.

I'm basically asking, does it get more interesting? Because nothing in the first few episodes is interesting? That's about the best I can explain it is. The conflict nor the characters really.

I couldn't get past the 1st episode either. The Rv scene killed it for me, it was too ridiculous, I didn't like any of the characters after that.

I've heard some say the show didn't hit its full stride til the end of season1/start of season two, but I was fully into it during the pilot.

I understand. After LOST, there's nothing else that even comes close to satisfying you.
