I just started this and am almost done with season 1. So far I am really loving this show. Malek is awesome. Are the other seasons almost as good as 1 or does this one fizzle out ?

It's been a while since I've watched the show, but I remember it definitely did not lose any momentum. It was pretty great from start to finish.

Season 1 is by far the best, but the show is pretty great overall. Season 3 was rough to me. but the last season was close to as good as 1. it's absolutely worth watching.

If I had to rank the seasons it’s 3,1,4, and 2. Season 2 is the only season I didn’t like but the show gets back on track in season three.

This is my take as well.

Even 2 isn’t as consistent as 1 and 4. 2 and 3 have their moments for sure and the production quality stays cinema quality throughout.

But the story in the middle feels like it’s not as clear and focused as the beginning and end seasons which are some of the best stuff you’ll ever see on television.

Fantastic show first half of season 2 is the only time I thought it dragged. After that it just goes full throttle

Season 1 took me by surprise and I enjoyed the others. I have been waiting for the most recent season (possibly final season, not sure) to become free on Prime but last I checked you still had to rent it.

Been waiting on that for a long time actually now that I think about it, I need resolution lol, I'll check now.

First season is magnificent. The rest of the show hovers around average, first half of 2nd season, to good, last half of season 2 throught the end

If you find yourself not loving the first half of season 2, just push through. This is a great show. I also think the ending is very strong.

I loved it and think years from now it will be looked back as a classic. Do not skip seasons. Go in order for sure. I just think Ramy is so good that its hard for me to watch him in other roles (even Freddie) and not see Elliot.
Even watching The Little Things had me referring to him to my wife as Elliot.

LOVE this show. Concept is great, style is unique, interesting camera work with the overhead pans. Lots of great acting (Malek, BD Wong, Bobby Canavale in particular), and many Holy shite! moments.

Top 10 show for me. Can't believe Sam Esmail hasn't gotten more recognition. Enjoy the ride

Mr Robot is a great show. For me I enjoyed all seasons but season 2 was a little slow.

SPOILERS!

end season

Sorry, but I thought this character had waaayyyy too much screen time. Just kept going on & on & on.

Great show though. Earlier seasons were the best.

The razzle dazzle of the cinematography and editing of this show makes it feel like you're watching something interesting and unique, but if you really break it down, you've wasted 45-60 minutes because the actual plot is about your average 23 minute House/Sherlock-style "super smart" guy overcoming obstacles.

The show consistently wastes your time as a viewer by extending mundane things; like holding a shot well beyond when any action or dialog has finished, actions and side quests that do not move the plot forward but merely act as filler, and extended intros and outros. Time is a precious commodity and when the audiences time is being wasted in these ways, it shows a lack of respect for you as a customer.

Edited to add that much like House and Sherlock, one can think "if I lacked emotion and empathy, what is the most sociopathic solution to this problem?" This is every primary and secondary character's motive and it becomes extremely tedious if you binge watch.

That is an interesting take. I can see where you are coming from as the plots for each season are pretty similar in form. I still like it though, it does get really deep at some points and it can be hard to binge, so I can agree with that.
