RT is 29%. I just don't get it. Never comes on TV.

I was not aware the RT score was that low. Had I been, I would have mentioned it. It has a few flaws, but nowhere near 29% RT rating. What the frick is wrong with people?

Damn I didn't realize this movie was so poorly rated. I love it. It holds up so well today, especially with Tywin Lannister as the villian. Guess it was ahead of its time.

Back when Comcast used stars to rate movies when you hit the info button, I remember The Great Outdoors only had 1 star out of 4. Roman Craig is one of my all time favorite characters. . ."A pontoon boat? What the hell are you going to do with a pontoon boat? Retake Omaha Beach?"

Love the scene when Roman calls himself comforting his daughters after the scary bear story by telling them another possibly worse scary story about the cannibals eating a family in the woods

I do too, it was too long to quote it though. I can't wait to do something similar to my son when he is a little older than 14 months

Me and some friends tried to start a Jugger league in our neighborhood after watching that movie. It didn't catch on. Mainly because none of use could find a dog skull, and that game could frick up your life.

eta: Holy shite! I just googled Juggers, and there is a real Jugger league out there. Juggers of the Wasteland

Good evening. How's it going? Listen, girls... uh... as your father, I feel it incumbent upon me to set the record straight on the validity of the tale which Uncle Chet shared with us this evening. I know that a terrifying story like that coming from the mouth of a recognized authority figure could be traumatizing for kids like yourselves; I know that, because I had a similar experience with my uncle Roy and a story he used to tell, about a family who went into the woods and was attacked by a band of escaped Army psychiatric patients who'd been subjected to violent, hellish, torturous behavior-modification experiments. It seems they escaped from the metal boxes the Army kept them in, found his family in the woods, fell upon them, slaughtered them and ate them. Now that story - phew - it gave me nightmares not to be believed. Well I thought that Uncle Chet's story upset you in the same way. I'm here to say that there actually is NO bear, and that all that Uncle Chet was saying was just a yarn... spinning for our... entertainment. And even if there were a bear out there, I'm in the house. To protect you. So uh... no more thinking about bears. Alright? No more thinking about unpleasant things. We're gonna close our eyes and dream about nice things. About cuddly, soft, fluffy things. Okay? Super. Good night. Sleep tight.

The Great Outdoors was roasted by critics, but it had a good premise and a solid cast. Minus the awkward teenage love cutaways, it was a decent comedy.

And Gung Ho was a little 80s gem that deserves much better than a 33% rating.

I could watch The Director's Cut Special Extended 10 Hour Gold Edition of "The Box".

Other than Cameron's horrible accent, I love this movie. I love a movie that doesn't even try to explain the batshit crazy stuff going on. Leave some things to the imagination.

Love the movie and it is hated by all of humanity.
