Yeah in total IMDB has 922 movies/tv shows that were filmed in New Orleans or at least part of them were filmed in New Orleans.

My cousin is Richard Thomas. Some of the older posters probably remember him. Anyways, when I was younger I remember going to meet him on set in new Orleans for a movie he was doing. No clue which movie that was.

The oldie, "Panic in the Street" is really worth watching. Cops track a killer in N.O. who's infected with a deadly disease. A cool old crime thriller with Richard Widmark.

Was reading the script for Battleship and I've also taken a look at the script for Battle: Los Angeles. They are basically the same movie being filmed in the same part of Baton Rouge.
