I'm new here (Hi!) and don't know much about the rules and regulations of this board.

Is the topic of streaming/downloading/torrenting illegally off limits?

Just want to know my boundaries.

No direct links to streaming/torrent sites. Mods don't mind general discussion, though.

Oh great!

In that case does anyone here use KODI (formerly XBMC)?

tread lightly. I was never banned but I did get a warning to stop talking about my torrents site. don't post any links and you should be good. they will warn you if you are getting in that gray area.

Everyone here should look into KODI.

It gives you the ability to upload your personal collection of movies, tv, music, etc. as well as looking at others personal collections (*wink*) through instant streaming.

It is much safer than websites that offer instant streaming, it is much faster and more efficient than torrenting, and you can manipulate almost anything within the files.

If anyone is interested they should look up KODI, as well as how to install the Genesis repository into KODI. That is all I will say, and to those who choose to use this wonderful program. You're welcome and cheers

It's definitely frowned upon. Certainly don't link anything, but even indepth discussion about it will at the very least garner an anchor for your thread (meaning new posts won't bump it to the top of the board).

The owners of the site generally don't like discussion about illegal streaming/DL'ing on the M/TV board.

You can't call a movie a movie. It's a film.

If someone is good at acting, you have to say that they have "chops".

If a movie...err film is good, you have to say it is fantastic. That is the only acceptable adjective.

You basically have to be a smug douche who goes over the top to show that you are one who appreciates good cinema.

That's rule #13. The entire narrative depends on it.
