The most disturbing movie I've ever seen was Henry Portrait of a Serial Killer

I may catch some heat for this, but Paranormal Activity freaked me out.

Without a doubt this one. A truly horrific movie that will stay with you for days. I've never been so pissed off as I was when I finished this movie. It's incredibly well done, with two great performances from keener and page, but you've been warned...it's brutal.

My answer for this hasn't changed from when I was a kid as the last time I watched the movie I was 15 years old, but the children's Halloween classic Hocus Pocus freaks the frick out of me. In particular, the opening scene where the girl just mindlessly walks into the woods, the scene where the witches are burnt in the kiln and then re-coalesce from the cloud, and the zombie with his mouth sewed shut all messed with me as a kid.

As an adult, I don't really get affected by movies as much, but the new Hungarian film Son of Saul was a pretty soul ripping movie with a different view of the holocaust than what is normally portrayed in movies. It's just painfully hopeless and worst of all based in real events that it stays with you.

It may have been my mood at the time, but Mirrors bothered me for awhile.

I watched Faces of Death 30-ish years ago. Fricked me up something awful. Only thing I've ever watched that made me sick enough to barf.

Just a description of one part of the movie: "the inclusion of an extreme fatal accident; "the shattered remains of a cyclist are seen under a semi-tractor trailer. The camera pans long enough to capture paramedics scooping up blood clots, brain matter, and clumps of hair from the tarmac – this incident is authentic and culled from newsreels."

Seriously, frick that with a thousand horse dicks.
