Movie that scared or disturbed you the most

I'm talking about since you've been an adult. The original Friday the 13th and The Beast Within kept me up many nights as a kid, but those don't count.
I've just thought of this topic and will have to give it some thought, but one that comes to mind is The Audition.

I was also going to mention The Orphanage. Great flick.

The omen still freaks me out (the original one)

Requiem for a Dream wasn't scary. Just disturbing as a motherfricker. The epitome of a "train wreck". Didn't wanna see it but couldn't stop watching
I wasn't an "adult" yet but The Ring scared the shite out of me

When i was a kid, both "Fire in the sky" and "Blair witch project" freaked me the hell out.
As an adult, I can't think of anything in particular.

Requiem For A Dream probably kept me from ever trying hard drugs.

I have to think about life and readjust my mood after watching Requiem. That movie is rough.
Weirdly enough, the first time I saw American Psycho it fricked with me for a while.
But I refuse to watch evil devil shite. I can't do it. The Omen and The Exorcist frick with me way to hard.

Less Than Zero freaked me out. Or more precisely Robert Downey Jr's character in it did. Pretty sure that kept me from ever wanting to try Coke.
Also, the movie Kids was pretty disturbing.

I don't get really scared by movies anymore. Not trying to sound like a hard arse. That just isn't how I describe it. I get creeped out or maybe they make me a little jumpy/startled. I definitely still can get disturbed, maybe even more so now than when I was young.
The most recent movie that did a good job of creeping me out and making me really jumpy was It Follows. Excellent atmosphere and expertly put together scenes. I think it's really great.
I watched Ichi the Killer a while back, and that gross shite was pretty fricking disturbing. It was a little over the top, and I don't think it was really any good. I was definitely disturbed. I was left wondering if there were any redeeming value besides over the top violence that I had missed. I looked at reviews online and found none.

Not to derail the thread, nor am I saying go out and try it, but Coke is made out to be way worse of a drug than it actually is

Gremlins fricked me up as a kid. I couldn't understand why everyone was laughing at those sick evil creatures.
To this day I won't watch that movie.
