Awful movie in almost every way. It insists upon itself.

I can appreciate it for being somewhat unique and not just a copycat movie like most are now. It is challenging to get through, but I didn’t mind it.

Someone called it the movie version of the Turn Down For What music video and that’s a very apt description

The Fountain is also pretty high art that I can sort of appreciate.

The Fountain is a great film and the soundtrack is incredible.

Wow, I'm actually surprised to see that I may be the only dumbass who really enjoyed this flick.

I can usually see the twist coming a mile away but didn't here (up until a certain point), like to get pretty deep into the "weirder" A24-type catalogs, and love religious symbolism, so this one just hit all the right buttons.

Is something wrong with me?

I loved it! Had this twisted dream logic. It was beautiful and awful.

Beau is Afraid on a similar frequency.

Mother is one of my favorite movies. I watched it twice in the theater.

I like pretty much all of Aronofsky's stuff. I often hear him called pretentious but at least he tries to do something original and thoughtful even if he doesn't always reach the heights he aims for.

Mother in particular impressed me by presenting several overlapping themes simultaneously on top of a the Biblical allegory. And I loved the last ten minutes or so of the film.
