the 50lb bag of concrete that fell two stories onto Marv's head would have killed him instantly.
That bag would have been traveling at about 30mph by the time it reached Marv. a 50lb bag traveling at 30mph driving your head into the floor. That's 2156 Joules of energy at impact. To give a comparison of what that means, a 100mph fastball is 230 Joules of energy. The brick being thrown down from 3 stories up is going to be slightly more than the fastball, still potentially deadly, but no where near as that 50lb bag of concrete.

Poor Marv should have been dead about 10 times over in these two movies.

how has no one posted the toilet full of gasoline that Harry sticks his flaming head into?

Not a trap, but by far the most lethal was bricks to the face from three stories up.
The brick scene makes me consistently laugh more than any other Home Alone 1-whatever it's up to now scene. Even after seeing it hundreds of times.

It wasn't a trap per say, but if someone laid a tarantula on my face, my soul would leave my body

Same. I stepped on a nail in my youth. I feel it every time I see that scene.

Brick to the head, swinging paint can, or the pipe would have been permanent brain damage or death.
Cement bag would be death.

My favorite is after ALLLLL that punishment, the neighbor hits them in the head with a shovel and they’re down for the count
