It's a fricking movie, not real life. You think they've never seen someone die in a movie before? So there's extra blood coming out that makes it ridiculously unrealistic. big whoop. They've played the game before. You think a guy taking his mask off and exposing his skull, then breathing fire out his mouth to burn the opponent to a crisp is some rated R nightmare type shite? It's so unrealistic it makes it no big deal.

What i'm more concerned with is sexual talk. I'll take blood and gore like this over someone talking about anal or sucking dick.

But why? If the rest is so unrealistic that a kid would never mimic anything about the violence, why would that child think the language is normal for everyday use?

I thought it was pretty good. I've played the games but i wouldn't say i'm a super fan. I went in really worried it would be too gory for my tastes. The handful of really gory fatalities are telegraphed so if you have seen the games then you know what's going to happen and its not even as graphic as the game.

The acting is so bad it’s hard to get past. Fighting was pretty cool.

Just finished it. Loved it.

It’s VERY cheesy. Very. But not in a bad way. And I kinda feel like a MK movie should be to a degree. Plus it has to be cheesy in order to get the little nods to the game in here and there (your soul is mine, flawless victory, Kano wins, etc).

Graphics were pretty well done. I was impressed with a lot of it and how realistic some of it looked.

Acting wasn’t great, but wasn’t bad for the most part. And this is all about the fighting anyway, which was pretty solid.

I actually liked Kano more than I thought I would. He made me chuckle a few times.

They should’ve found a way to get Sonya a dragon mark. I did like that they kept mentioning that she shouldn’t be there, which I liked. And she was a bit overpowered for a regular woman. Also was weird that they gave her Kano instead of Mileena at the end. No chance she manhandles Kano like that. But again, it’s MK so I didn’t mind.

And with the way they incorporated the dragon mark being inherited by someone who kills the person with it, Sonya got hers anyway. I liked that little twist.

Not gonna lie, the Liu Kang fire thing was cool, and the fire dragon part was awesome.

Wish we saw more SZ kicking arse. But at least they fought at the end. And that was great.

Main gripe is Cole’s arcana was kinda weak shite. I don’t know if he’s from the games or whatever, but his little torso fire armor thing sucks. And honestly, he was the weakest part of the movie, which sucks since he was the main character basically. But there was enough other shite going on that it didn’t ruin anything for me.

The “get over here” part had me big hyped. And with the music too. That was super well done. We even got the SZ freeze and jump back move.

This is exactly what a MK movie should be. And I liked how it already easily set up a sequel. This movie was awesome. I wish we could’ve seen a tournament, but at least they explained that early on that the plan was to eliminate the warriors before the tournament even begins. So that didn’t end up bothering me too much.
