I've met several Dallas based baseball players, Austin Jacksin, Brandon Boesch, Michael Young. Their hitting coach uses my facility to hit sometimes, I also met and had conversations with everyone in Thunderstruck, but the cool story is about my grandma.
Clark Gable was in town filming a movie (Gone with the Wind I think), and my Grandma was a writer for the Advocate covering the movie. Clark Gable used to drive to my grandparents house and pick her up every morning. There is an autographed picture of them together in the front yard of the house (my parents live there now). I think there may have been a little more going on there than she's let on to me...

Met Bill Paxton at the airport in Jackson Hole when I was like 13.
That movie Vertical Limit had just come out, and I hated it. I walked up and said, "Hey, aren't you the guy from Vertical Limit?" "Yes, I am" "That movie was so bad, but I really liked Twister!"
That's when my dad saw me and snatched me up very apologetically.
My dad was so angry at me, "You can't tell people stuff like that" "But it sucked dad".
After that I've left celebrities alone in most public environments.

I met Bert Kreischer on the sidewalk in Vegas. I just told him I enjoyed his work.

Wait, i take it back, i met Jon Lithgow at the House of Blues.
Just finished watching a saints game there about 2 years ago, and him and Dan Akroyd were walking out. I told him, "I enjoy your work" and shook his hand. He seemed like a nice guy for the 1/2 second we met.

I live near L.A., so I run into celebs sorta regularly. My favorite was at a Dodger game. I was with my kids. We were sitting at a railing just above the lowest field level seats. Rob Reiner walked right past, and I told him hello.
My daughter asked who it was and I told her he was the director of "The Princess Bride" - her favorite movie.
When he passed again, she made eye contact and said. "My name is Inigo Montoya"
Reiner pointed at her and yelled. "You killed my father!"
Then they both said "Prepare to die!" and high fived.

I met Billy the Exterminator in the Atlanta airport.
Ran into Donna Douglas (Ellie Mae Clampitt) and Terry Bradshaw in the Shreveport airport years ago.

Brad Pitt is the most famous that I've met. Very nice.
Jason Siegel
John Popper from Blues Traveler
Also met Walton Goggins from Justified and the Shield (i'm a huge fan, so it was a great experience).
The only one who sucked was Ed Helms.
Actually, Jakob Dylan is a huge prick.

Does it matter if you only met them because they were your coworkers?

I went to glassman's house for thanksgiving last year. Had drinks and dinner with Morgan Freeman, Drew Brees, Brad and Angelina (of course), and Carrie Underwood.
It was ok.

I've never met someone remotely famous, not even like PBS daytime show famous.

I was selling games at the Boston World Con(Science Fiction Convention) in 1989. A dumpy lady came by with a couple of kids and bought a huge stack of Call of Cthulhu(H.P. Lovecraft Horror) game books from me. They kept saying how their Dad would be a great game master. I almost laugh when they said that. The lady wrote a check and I got her Drivers License info like I always do. Some guy came up to me and said I can't believe you asked for Stephen King's wife's ID. I pulled out the check and sure enough it was Tabitha and Stephen King Bangor Maine. I thought it was awesome that Stephen King would play a Call of Cthulhu game with books bought from me. Boy would I liked to have been in that game.

Worked at a nice hotel so I've met a good amount, kind of kills the excitement of meeting them. But it's funny telling them the best place to get some coffee or a bar they would feel comfortable in etc.
Outside of the hotel, Bill Murray was defintely my favorite interaction. He just kills it.

I also have pictures of Clark Gable holding my mom as a baby when he was in BR filming. Apparently he really liked hunting on my grandfather's land.
