Fictional characters are apparently scary to you, otherwise you’d not be in such a rush to see them race swapped.

This. Almost every movie for the past 60 years has been a caricature of itself, with the exception of the initial reboot and a couple of others. But it was inevitable. The original stories were great spy stories about the Cold War, but Dr. No and then You Only Live Twice went in for the international cabal thing and it's been, at best, slightly downhill ever since. How many times can we see a movie about some threat to the world? It's the Marvel Universe without the superheroes, which is boring to me. That may be true, but they've been making the same Bond movie for a lot longer period of time. It's the longest running franchise (or one of the longest, though not necessarily with the highest number of films).

So James Bond is an English spy of Scottish descent, given his number is 007, clearly there are more than one spy in MI 6. What can’t this guy be 006 or 008? Ridiculous
