I take it you’ve never read a SouthEasternKaiju thread?

Rogue One was pretty damn basic, to be honest. Nothing on D+ is better than that though. Not even close.

And even if you like Mando, the sad part is that it's all tied together with the rest of the D+ garbage pile. The stench of all of it can't be washed off.

Oh, but you'll have that AMAZING Dave Filoni movie to look forward to that'll tie in all the great works of art into one mega masterpiece!

And who knows, maybe you'll get that Galactic Starcruiser 2.0 by then and you can complete your Star Wars fantasy after all!!!

Vaughn is 52 years old, he's not a youngster. He also makes awesome, fun movies, and I'd love to see him do a Star Wars series, he'd do a great job most likely.

That being said, hell no to anyone rebooting the original trilogy.

The amount of people in this thread that don't know the director of movies like Kingsman, Layer Cake, X-Men First Class, and Kickass is impressivein a sad way.

I think this is a good idea. The original trilogy is really just one masterpiece film and when you read about how Empire was made it was a miracle and accident it turned out to be so good. Empire is the film that created such a fruitful franchise that has persisted in many forms to this day. There still has not been another film like Empire when every protagonist in the film gets completely gutted and defeated so profoundly. Rogue One got close to it but there was still hope in the context of what the audience knew happened eventually.

The shows you don’t watch and thus can’t distinguish between.

This idea must be squashed at all costs.

Your mind can’t grasp that I don’t NEED to watch because it’s all tied together like some putrid Gordian knot.

But enjoy light saber wielding Ahsoka doing a space flippy on her ship’s wing as she single handily girl bosses herself to victory vs a squadron of fighters.

This is just gross. Please just sell it back to Lucas, let him de-cannon what he wants and let Star Wars rest. It's already been through enough

what cracks me up is people thinking George Lucas is the guy to let star wars rest.

the guy who keeps re-editing movies from the 70s and made an equally shitty prequel trilogy and invented the word Jizz.

I'll take Lucas Specialness over what Disney has done. At least his prequel trilogy had the basic shite of a beginning middle and end. Plus, it's not like Lucas has a ton of time left if we are being honest. Disney can keep desecrating the franchise for as long as they want.

listen,’I will trash the sequel trilogies all day.

All day long.

the worst Star Wars product there is.

but I wont listen to the Prequel Apologies trying to rehabilitate that garbage.

Mandalorian
Andor
Rogue One
Solo

all infinitely better than the prequel trilogy.

George Lucus was great, but he didn’t know when to leave the OT alone. or do you love CGI Jabba?

The only reason id want this is to see Ewen and Hayden reprise their roles.

but outside of that no. You couldnt recast Luke and Leia or Han.

but as good as Alec Guiness was I do think Ewen could match that, and Hayden as Darth would be awesome. They would improve the fight where obi wan dies
