Sounds like a perfect six seasons and fourteen made-for-streaming movies for Randy.

GD, they are getting a billion dollars for 6 more seasons and 14 "movies", which from reading the article, seem to be hour long specials. Amazing.

They already had a half billion. Jesus tap-dancing Christ.

Can't hate, though. They deserve to get paid.

Plus, SP has just earned my unwavering viewership over the past almost 25 years. Whatever they put out, I will watch, and I will confidently assume I'll enjoy it too. Even "bad" South Park is still better than a lot of other shite.

Agreed. I will always always watch south park. Even if they put out a season that is complete and comprehensive dogshit, I will still tune in to the next one.

These motherfrickers are billionaires from drawing damn characters out of poster board and having them saying frick on a cable network.

If that ain’t the American dream, the American dream ain’t real.

South Park started in 94 when I was in 8th grade.

That would be 33 years on air. Just crazy

Unfortunately, they are missing out on so many great topics right now. They could just write a show damn near everyday with our fricked up world.

I loved the Pandemic special but they didnt have enough time to hit all the topics that were going on in 2020

I was wanting some Tiger King on Southpark

I want the show to be about the four boys again. It has turned into the Randy Marsh show and it’s too much.

I know that opinion is unpopular, but they really overdid it with Randy.

I'm with you, and Randy was always a favorite character. The Tegridy Farms stuff got old to me.

The boys' perspective on the world is what made the show hilarious in the first place.

You're right. I was thinking of Beavis & Butthead.

We currently peg Trey Parker's net worth at $600 million and Matt Stone at $700 million (Matt's a little higher because Trey has been married and divorced twice).

Ouch.

Surprised he's still so close to Matt then honestly.

I assume he has made more since he does more than Matt. Trey writes a lot more, does more with the music, does more producing and directing and shite like that, doesn't he? Not to say that Matt doesn't do anything, but I've always thought the majority of the stuff came from/is done by Trey. And I want to say I've seen them talk about that a good bit before too.

I hope their lawyer got a pretty penny from inking that 50% digital line in their 1997 contract. That was a genius thing to do back then, and I'm sure M&T thank him daily for it.

Well they could have gone the Chappelle route, bitched and gotten it anyway. Though they would have had more power since CC has basically no valuable properties anymore and desperately needs to keep cranking SP out as long as possible

Parker and Stone "Yeah we are getting tired of doing this show. Its been great but we feel its time to move on to new challenges."

Paramount "We will pay you 900 million."

Parker and Stone "On the other hand we have some great story ideas!"

Great. I'm sure this money will ensure that they continue cranking out social commentary that is occasionally critical of the left.
