You mean like Iron Fist, Dr. Strange, and Captain America: Civil War?

If Dr. Strange is shitty, than so is most movies. It wasn't the greatest ever, but it was at minimal, above average. I personally really enjoyed it in large part thanks to the visuals. It was amazing to watch in IMAX 3D.

And it's meant to be because there are so many Marvel apologists on this board. In their minds Marvel can do no wrong.

While I didn't hate Dr. Strange or Captain America: Civil War, I didn't find them to be that particularly great either. But to Disney's credit, they've found a formula that works. It's just that after The Avengers came out in 2012, I have started expecting more from the MCU. Other than Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy, the MCU has been a terrible disappointment from Iron Man 3 onward.

At least they are not complete dumpster fires like DC. They definitely been slipping though.

I don't know. At least DC being a dumpster fire tells me there's really nowhere to go for them but up.

I feel like Marvel reached its peak in the very beginning with Iron Man back in 2008 and have been trying in vain to replicate the success of that movie ever since.

Nothing in the MCU compares to The Dark Knight and Logan. Those two films are the gold standard in the genre.

I finished it. I'd called it bland, and not satisfying overall. Not the worst of the Netflix marvel shows. Never as bad as JJ/Cage at their worst, but never as good as those shows at their best either.

It's not nearly as bad as critics are saying.

Finished the whole season. I thought it was really, really bad. Too much talking. Too much focus on the Meachem's and their issues. I read that some people are comparing it to Arrow. IMO, Arrow season 2 & 3 are much much better. I think the series was too long and it really needed a better plot. One of the keys to a great hero saga is that the villain has to be overwhelmly difficult to defeat.

I just don't get it. Finished episode 4 and I really like it. The little Asian chick is a really cute bad arse and Jessica Stout is sexy in her upscale buisness outfits. The fighting is decent and I like the triad and hand angle. The scenes where Danny does a "super jump" are horrendous however. It doesn't look remotely realistic.

Those two are some of the weakest in the whole MCU.

I like how Davos is basically Danny Rand's Karl Mordo.

Are you sure about that? Just when you think they can't get any worse, they some how manage it.

So far I like it better than Daredevil and Luke Cage, but not as much as Jessica Jones.

Visuals were great, but the rest of the film was pretty boring, IMO. It was basically Tony Stark with magic. And Cumberbatch is nowhere near as charasmatic as RDJ.

That may be one of the most horrible series I've watched in awhile.

- The acting was bad
- The entire series was melodramatic and like a soap opera.
- Every time they'd get into some sort of trouble or fight, I kept wondering/hoping Daredevil would show up and take care of the problem.
- If Danny is some sort of badass, why did the girl have better fighting skills?
- My wife kept saying "oh look it's Danny Rand, Teen Drama Queen" every time he'd showed up on screen.
- I absolutely hated the actor that played Danny Rand. Who is this guy? Has he acted in any thing else because he must be sleeping with somebody to get parts.
