I am posting to CoolHand because his post was the last one.
Did anybody watch the highlights that I posted on the first page for Chopper?
Has anybody else seen Chopper?
Someone lauded Bogie for slapping a woman and telling her she'd like it. The first Chopper highlight shows him going to his old girlfriend's house slapping her to the ground, slapping her mother to the ground and then saying to the GF, "Look what you made me do."
One of the highlights shows him talking to the warden at the prison he's in about moving him out of the general population after he had stabbed another prisoner. They wouldn't move him so he got another crazy prisoner to cut off both of his ears so he could go to the infirmary instead of GP.
If you haven't seen it I'd watch it. I am sure there were some embellishments but it is based a a true story. The guy it's about wrote a book. He is a freaking lunatic.
Here's a picture from when the guys in the prison that were his friends stabbed him. He stood there and let the guy stab him four or five times. After the last one he told the guy he should give him credit for teaching him how to do it.
Here's a picture of the stab wounds.
The aftermath of the ear cutting.

The Long Riders is right up there for manly westerns. David Carradine, as Cole Younger, gets asked by Pamela Reed, as Belle Starr, why he won't marry her, and he tells her "Because you're a whore", and she responds, "Yeah, but at least I ain't a cheap whore." Can't get much more manly than that. And the Ry Cooder soundtrack is pretty cool too.

American psycho
Have yet to meet a female that has made it through more than 20% of the movie. Usually "you're a fricking ugly bitch, I'm gonna stab you I. The face and play with your blood" 5 mins in is the dealbreaker

IMO, some people are having a hard time differentiating between manly movies and guy movies.
