I'm sorry, are we referring to JGL? Because, in a completely hetero assessment of male attractiveness, JGL is a better looking guy than Shia Lebeouf. Seriously.

Nic Cage is the best actor in the world to star in bad movies. He takes bad movies and turns them into epic pieces of trash that will be remembered for generations. I will enthusiastically plunk down 10 bucks to see him in whatever crappy script he's decided to sign off on this month in search of another 20 million dollar payday.

I really mean this. There is no bad movie that could not be immeasurably improved by the presence of Nic Cage. He wouldn't make the movie "good" per se, but he would make it entertaining as all hell.

Star Wars Episode 2&3: Hayden Christenson to...Chris Hemsworth, maybe? Chris Evans (channeling his character from "Not Another Teen Movie" or "Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World") would be hilarious and a badass as Anakin.

Yeah if you wanted to make another Space Balls this would work.

That would have made an epic Chapelle Show skit.

People keep saying Nick Cage but I can almost guarantee that no other actor could have played the charactar Sailor in Wild at Heart better than NMFC (yeah, that's Nick mother fricking Cage) and it's on my "long" list of favorite movies.

I agree with Ballo that there is no better actor for bad movies than NMFC. Kurt Russel maybe but he will always be the enfamous Jack Burton of the Pork Chop Express to me.

Back to topic though, I guess I haven't seen any bad movies lately.I would suggest removing Ben Afflek from some of his movies and replacing him with someone better. Who? I don't know.

What's with the Coppola hate? First Nick Cage now Sophia! Actually, Sophia's ONLY good scene in GFIII was when she died and Nick Cage really, really screwed up Peggy Sue Got Married.

Absolutely.

Agree again.

Actually, the guy is a terrific actor who is batshit nuts when it comes to his career and private life, apparently. It takes a lot of income to keep that engine running.

If you were to give Cage's part to Travolta and Travolta's to Cage...then you'd be onto something
