Probably don't notice but my favorite part of the episode is random Bert Cooper hanging out in the background doing nothing. Just reading a magazine. Lol

I was re watching online and it cut out with peggy talking to her boss? Was that the last scene?

I recently rewatched the whole series over the last month in anticipation of this episode. And it made it so much easier to catch the themes and motifs of the show. My favorite is Don's look of utter despair whenever someone tells him to be himself. "BUT I DON'T KNOW WHO I AM!" They're also really throwing death in our faces early this season. Wouldn't surprise me if the drowning man is roger, don or even Pete.
I also saw don sleeping with Linda cardelinni as soon as I saw her on the show. No way they would cast a semi well known actress and have her not sleep with don

Yeah, the proper ones just got put out. Last ten minutes or so were cut out.
In any case, I really liked the 2nd half of the two hours or episode. The funeral scene was great. Margaret is looking fine as hell and Moana isn't too bad for her age. Also loved seeing Bert Cooper reading the paper in the background as Cosgrove scolded that guy for not doing shite.

Turn up your hearing aid, bruh.
On that note, and it's probably been mentioned, that game was Gene Stallings beating his mentor Bear Bryant. Peggy vs Don will be great.

The two-hour opener was, simply put, a disappointment — even annoying — for how much it demanded from the viewer and how little it offered in return.

Ken went off on that guy. It was pretty awesome.

The opener may have come across as stale, but we have some great new character development. Peggy and Betty, that new douchebag Cosgrove chewed out.
And Stan Rizzo is still funny as shite. Same for Roger.

Watched half of the first season. Was really, really anticipating something great. Ultimately though, I got tired of the reliance upon "period" sets and references (it was clever and interesting at first, but it became too self-conscious, imo). Then I was left with just a soap opera with a slight bit of "sophistication". I'm trying to get back into it again, so I watched about half of last night's episode.

To be fair, it's a bit more than "a slight bit of sophistication."
