Being cooped up during the quarantine...is the Luke Cage series worth a binge watch?

Middle of the road Marvel imo. I enjoyed it though all the way through.

Don't expect it to be incredible like the Marvel movies but it's worth a watch, especially if you're burning through shows.

I liked all the Marvel Netflix series. Some more than others, but they were all worth watching to me. Daredevil, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Defenders. I really liked Daredevil.

I gave it a try and want to say I watched about 4 episodes thinking it was solid and had potential to get better, then it just went to shite and I stopped.

Watch the Tiger King show or Witcher if you are bored, if youve watched those i suggest Love is blind, its so terribly trashy that its actually fun to watch.

Theres also Kingdom, ancient Korean zombies. its great.

I didn't like it. No one's motivations made any sense. There were multiple times Cage could have taken out the bad guy and just sat there and absorbed bullets then walked away. I didn't finish the series.

It's OK. I'm not sure how he is in the comics, but the Netflix version of the Luke Cage character is very boring.

Villains were hit and miss from what I remember.

It bored me. I quit after a few episodes.

It wasn't awful, and by far not the worst Netflix Marvel show. That honor easily belongs to Iron Fist

It's good until Cottonmouth exits the series.

I didn't even bother with season 2.

Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage episodes 1-7? and Punisher are a good time

Unfortunately you have to watch Defenders between DD s2 and s3

It was decent but one of the bottom tier marvel properties.

Yeah I thought the first half of season 1 was decent as well, then it goes off the rails with the second villain.

It was good, but it is best if you watch all four inter-related series. (Daredevil, Jessica Jones and even Iron Fist).

At least you have the time.

Comic book Luke Cage is wonderfully 70s, speaks jive

Two thirds of his original comic run is with Iron Fist, which would have been cool for the show.

Iron Fist Season 2 is much better because of Alice Eve's Typhoid Mary.

Assuming it is eventually brought back, it needs to be Heroes for Hire with Danny Rand recast.

Netflix Marvel is defined by a lot of missed opportunity.

A lot of it is besides Daredevil getting comic accurate costumes except for Bullseye (which made sense for the storyline)

Jones, Cage, Walker all get the "oh my God this get up is lame!" scenes for their Jewel, Classic, and Hellcat looks.

I mean Luke Cage gave Dr Doom the business for shits and giggles. He runs the Raft when it's not imprisoning superheroes.

Especially when he went after Cottonmouth they should have dumped the tacky yellow shirts on him from one of their warehouses. Have him wear them to draw fire and just be a middle finger of wearing your stuff.

I thought it was tremendously weak but I was able to finish it. I couldn't finish Iron Fist. Had zero interest for Defenders.

Only so many tight hallway fights a person can watch.
