S1 is not good. The actor looks the part, but he comes off as a big pussy most of the time. He tries to but fails to bring the blacksploitation vibe. He just doesn't cut it as a lead role, but he was fine as a supporting one in Jess Jones.
S2 is pretty damn good ONLY because of the greatness that is The BooshMahstah (Bushmaster)! Seriously, this dude owns this role! One of my favorite charaters in the Netflix Marvelverse. Overall the writing is tighter too, so it is a better season. I feel like they were finding their grove; unfortunately Netflix pulled the plug like a bunch of pooholepokers

They say they are bringing Daredevil to MCU, I hope they do away with the "tired after 3 punches" fight style he had in his show my god.
They went overboard trying to be realistic, but the martial arts was great besides that

Thanks everyone for the opinions. I ended up watching the Luke Cage and Defenders. My take...I liked Luke Cage, but like everyone said, it was all over the place at times and not enough actions for my liking. I thought Miranda, Shades, Cottonmouth, Diamondback, Bushmaster were good characters, but needed to be revisited. Unfortunately, there is no season 3 to answer more questions. Overall Grade: B.
As for the Defenders, I didn't like as well. Kind of boring...again, needed more seasons. Overall Grade: C-

Terrible stuff. For building up to something that should've been their big blast, it was a complete dud.
I haven't watched JJ Season 3, nor will I, but Defenders is the worst of them all with the exception of that one (I think the consensus here is that JJ3 is by far the worst)
