I must have missed that part of the episode.

MY AWESOME NEW THEORY!!!!!!
Jack and Locke are going to die on the island so they can live in the other time line.

They didn't say it, but why wouldn't that be the first question Sun would ask when she got there? We don't need every single encounter.

1. Sun was still speaking Korean.
2. How would Kate know for sure Jin was at Hydra Island?

I am here to gloat. I am now almost positive Locke off island is mib. Yurintrbl has a good theory and I support this.

She's been there for 3 days, they know Widmore took Jin, and they know Widmore is on Hydra Island.

Is it wrong that I was hoping the fence was on when Jin and Sun ran towards each other?

What was the twist? Thought that's was a kind of weak ending

Why? There is nothing to indicate this. MIB may be somewhere else in the alternate timeline, but Locke is just Locke in this timeline. Who does he need to hide his identity from in this reality since Locke is a loser in both timelines?

Jack admitting a few weeks back that he can't always fix everything was foreshadowing. He is brought in to fix locked back. He can't do it. By not fixing Locke he is actually saving the world. Hurley has a happy life. Sawyer has a happy life. Kate will be cleared and live happily. Jin and sun live happily. Jack lives good. Claire keeps Aaron and lives happily. Desmond and penny live happily. Ben lives happily. Locke dies and smokey dies in the process. Locke is shocked To life and lives happily. Sayid ends up in prison since he has gone completely dark.
There I just wrote the finale

Either Jack and Locke are Adam and Steve....
OR
Locke cannot leave the island unless he dies in the other time line because MIB can only inhabit a dead person (and Locke won't be dead when the time lines re-merge). Unless Other Timeline Locke dies on the table - Island Locke is gonna hafta die.
Jack becomes the new Jacob (not sure if he has to die to do that or not).
The Locke and Jack in the other time line live out their lives.

I'm starting to wonder whether Widmore's purpose in coming back to the island is to kill everyone...for MIB...just like last time with the Kahana. Widmore could be like Keamy in the flash-sideways...killing people in exchange for consideration (Jin & Sun), but Widmore's consideration will be the Island. It must be MIB's promise to him for joining his side.

Jack has been pretty awful at doing so in the series as a whole.

There is one thing Jack is good at fixing, its spines. He's not going to kill Locke.

And what the frick does this have anything to do with MIB inhabiting the alternate timeline Locke? Nothing. MIB may be out and about in the alternate timeline, but he is certainly not Locke in this timeline and there is far more evidence against him being Locke than being for.
