He's not a candidate anymore, if he ever was. I'd have to check Lostpedia. Jacob gave her the list of only 6 remaining candidates off island in the hospital.

Most likely he was never a candidate. It was just up in the air for a little while. I still think he should have had more importance other than making a few cute comments and nodding/shaking his head.

If you remember, earlier in the season he said he was supposed to be the pilot of Oceanic 815.

Anybody talked about Bernard yet? He seemed to really know what was going on, maybe even as much as Eloise. What's up with that? Are he and Rose fully enlightened in both timelines?

It appeared to me that Bernard was enlightened.
Especially when he told Jack "I hope you find what you're looking for" instead of using "who", referring to Anthony Cooper, he used "what".

I think Bernard and Rose are staying out of everything for some reason. Like they don't want to get involved. Not sure the reason, though.

I think Lapidus was a candidate. For one he was called a candidate. A secondly, I think we can assume that all 6 candidates were on the sub:
1. Jack
2. Sawyer
3. Hurley
4. A Kwon
5. Sayid
That leaves the other Kwon, Kate, or lapidus as the 6th candidate. We have been operating under the assumption Kate isn't a candidate and I don't think both Kwon's were candidates.

Lindelof and Cuse said that her name was crossed out in the cave. She's not a candidate.
