It wouldn't shock me if she is the last person alive on the island before MIB gets off.
Huh? What makes you think that MIB will get off?

Just lostpedia'd. It appears that Ben didn't even use the ancient dagger, just a regular looking one.

Also, on the LOST puppet show that came on after the episode last night, Pierre Chang said something to the effect that Jin and Sun went down with the sub but he did not mention Frank. I thought there might be something to that.
i also read a article from EW.com with Cuse and Lindelof talking about this episode and the deaths of sun and jin and Sayid and there was no mention of Frank, so he could still be around

That's the ending I'm hoping for.
I made a prediction about half way through this season as to the end. Some the details of that prediction are out, but the overall idea is still viable.

Gotcha
So you think that MIB gets off the Island and the world goes to shite or does nothing happen...or does the show end right as he's leaving and the audience is left to guess (I'd probably kill myself if the last part happens)

To kill Jacob/MIB, you have to stab them with the special daggers, but you have to do it before they talk to you, right? I seem to remember Jacob telling Ben he had a choice right before Ben stabbed him. Is this just a continuity error? or does this have a bigger meaning?
The only reason MIB said this to Richard was because he knew that Jacob could easily persuade Richard to not kill him.

What if Jack suddenly realizes that Lock is the MIB in the ALT and then instead of healing him, he kills him? THE END!
Then its revealed the anesthesiologist is the real WALLACE.

RIP Sayid. At least he was able to go out in typical Arab fashion by blowing up with a bomb strapped to his chest.

If MIB can't leave the island until all the candidates are dead, then why hasn't he been able to leave the island in the past? If they keep doing this over and over through time and he is still there, there has to be something else keeping him on the island other than that or every time a set of candidates are dead he would be able to leave the island.
The Candidates aren't important unless Jacob is dead. He has been the person keeping MIB from leaving.

Jack kills Sawyer because Sawyer tries to leave the island and take Kate.
Kate, in an emotional tirade, kills Jack.
MIB gets off, leaving Kate on the island alone.
World ends.
Cut to the finale scene: Some random guy in a bunker punching in:
3, 7, 14, 21, 30, 34
He hits enter and a clock scrolls back to 109:00
(The six numbers could just be any set of six numbers that add up to 109)
Basically, the entire series was Round 108 of the game between Jacob and MIB.

I'm not sure I agree with this.
I think MIB can escape when all the candidates are dead regardless of whether Jacob is alive or not. However, getting the candidates to kill one another off is much more difficult with Jacob alive and guiding them in certain directions.

they're going to run the Jack/Kate/Sawyer relationship thing to the bitter end
The love triangle has been dead since Juliet died. Its been less than a week since she died, and it would just be insulting to Juliet if Sawyer is hooking up 6 days after she dies.

Next week's episode should be awesome. I've been anxious to see Jacob/MIB's back story
I really can't believe I'm about to say this, but since next week had almost nothing to do with the aftermath of the Sub, I'm kinda sad they aren't focusing on that instead of Jacob and MIB's backstory. This season has been spectacular so far.

true, but that in no way means that the writers aren't going to drag it out anyway

didn't heal libby, anna lucia, alex, etc. which kind of leads me to believe that Kate is much more important than we are led to believe.
They were shot in the heart, and Jack said the bullet passed through Kate. As long as there isn't a piece of metal logged in there, any LOST person is usually fine after being shot. When Locke was shot by Ben, he was walking the next day. Sawyer was roughly shot at the same place Kate was at the end of Season 1, and he was walking around pretty well.

I like the idea but I think there will be a definite end to LOST because it only ends once. I do think the audience though will be left to consider the larger issues of fate v. free will, something v. nothingness, etc.

moot point since Jacob is already dead anyway

How does Smokie know what C-4 is and how to make a bomb with it and a digital watch?
Smokie has read the minds of countless people. He certainly knows about C4 and was in the freighter when Michael was destroyed by it. I'm sure Sayid could rig this bomb, and if Sayid could, MIB could as well.
