We don't know Desmond's age, but the acor is 41. I think they'll have a hard time saying he is 30.

I would have guessed he was early 30's...

Really? You must be fairly young, as it is harder to tell the further away they are from your own age. I actually would have thought 43-45.

Young kid, but not a baby.

I'm not disagreeing with you. I don't think it is Charlie. The problem is that I could tell you why it is not every significant character we've seen thus far.

Oh well, discussion for another day. Gotta go. Enjoyed the discussion.

That would make no sense.... how would he have been alive to bring Juliette to the island if she is the one that birthed him???

Not saying its wrong, but they better have a damn good excuse for that one

Interesting trivia. Episode 316 was Episode 33 for Desmond. The same age Jesus was thought to be when he was crucified/resurrected.

This is the same episode where we see Ben covered in blood by Desmond's boat.

Desmond also played Jesus in a mini-series. My grandmother was in a Catholic hospital a few years ago, and they played this program 24/7 on a certain channel. I'm not sure when it came out, but I easily recognized him, so it couldn't have been that long ago.

Evangeline Lilly is smokin' hot no doubt but Elizabeth Mitchell does a very fine job as Juliet; I like her role a lot.

I watched this episode again and caught something I found odd.

Juliet tells Sawyer that the others wiped out "most" of the Dharma initiative. I thought Ben was the only one to survive. Could there be someone else?

I don't think so... The others took over after they wiped Dharma out. I suspect they learned a lot about what dharma was doing by reading what dharma left behind.

Speaking of Lost, I found an interesting scenerio based personality test that gives you a pretty good return on which character you may be most like on Lost.

Your result for The Which Lost Character Are You Test ...

Sawyer
You scored 35% kindness, 74% courage, 79% seedy past, and 51% secretiveness!

"Baby, I am tied to a tree in a jungle of mystery. I've just been tortured by a damned spinal surgeon and a gen-u-ine Iraqi. Of course I'm serious!"

You are Sawyer. You aren't really a kind person, but you are fearless and a force to be reckoned with. Your past is full of dark secrets that you can't seem to live with. However, the worst possible thing to do is to keep everything locked up inside! Have a few more slumber parties by the campfire with Kate, and maybe you'll finally be able to get that weight off your chest.

Your polar opposite is: Walt You are similar to: Kate and Locke.

I got Jack

You are Jack. You are compassionate, heroic, and a bit of a martyr. You are brave and a natural leader. However, you shouldn't keep so much bottled up inside. You are so busy taking care of others that you have no time or energy to take care of yourself. Take a load off once in a while and play some golf with Hurley. You need to relax pretty soon or else you'll be no good for anyone anymore - including yourself!

Your polar opposite is: Shannon. You are similar to: Boone and Sayid.

Compared to other takers
12/100 You scored 44% on kindness, higher than 12% of your peers.
99/100 You scored 78% on courage, higher than 99% of your peers.
55/100 You scored 39% on seedy past, higher than 55% of your peers.
64/100 You scored 56% on secretiveness, higher than 64% of your peers.
