Spoilers

Did I see this right, all those parents remained on the Resolute to die while Don West secures a Jupiter and takes off with John and Maureen?

If I'm one of those kids who tearfully said goodbye to their parents, I'm going be a bit miffed at seeing the Robinsons intact.

You should rewatch. All the parents scattered in different Jupiter’s

I think I watched 4 episodes. It just wasn't compelling.

I have liked season 2 more than season 1. Parker Posey plays a great Dr. Smith. I would have her babies.

It's not open long enough. It's only open for a matter of seconds.

Weren’t they worried about the robots following the big ship through and that’s why they waited for them to get to their ship and try to trap them

Just finished the second season. I liked this season much more than the first. I'm glad they decided not to have the Robinsons alone by themselves like the original series. Looking forward to the next season.

I actually liked it better when the first season focused on the family and the robot, like the original series did. Having lots of extra characters was distracting to me. After all, the show is basically a space version of "The Swiss Family Robinson" and their attempt to find a way home (Alpha Centauri).

I hated Dr. Smith for most of the first season, because she basically had no sympathetic or redeeming qualities whatsoever, until she saved John. That changed somewhat at the end of season 2 when she sacrificed herself to buy the children time to escape and she admitted to Maureen that the Robinsons are the closest thing she has to a family.

Contrary to what others have posted here, I like that this season was robot-centric because in this series the robot has an actual backstory. Not only that but the robots' species plays a pivotal role in the show as being the only creatures able to pilot a craft using the engine (meaning that without them then there is likely no trek to AC).

I would have minded if they added the other robots similar to how X-Files did with aliens (starts off the series then nothing for a while, then a tiny bit, then nothing, then a little more, then nothing, then a little more, etc) but the show-runners decided to go another route (although they could just as easily have the colonists not run into them again during all of next season).

About halfway through this season I was getting annoyed with what looked to be a pattern of "we went off, got in trouble, found a fix then made it back to the haven of the Resolute". Well that changed at the end of the season.

I've enjoyed the peeks into Dr. Smith's past and her psyche. Posey does a masterful job of riding that line (or making you believe Smith is riding that line) between friend and foe. The work building then tearing down she and John's budding bond was an added bonus (because you know that's going to play into her box of cray-cray next season).

The ending of the season though... the host of robot ships were heading to the Resolute when it was destroyed (along with the lone ship that had made it to them in time to board the Resolute). With everyone taking off in their Jupiters, what chances do they have with that armada coming for them? And did they all come from the lightning thing or did come from somewhere else due to some beacon?

So many questions.

This show may have an interesting premise that can keep me entertained but the overall mood and dialogue of this show is so suffocatingly family wholesome that I just need to take a break from it sometimes.

Will for example is so damn needy and whiny that it's very annoying and I just want to slap the shite out of that kid.

I'm not expecting the most well written story with this show, but I feel like they opened up a can of worms by putting humans at war with a massive army of robots large enough to occupy multiple planets when 1 robot is usually deadly enough to take out an entire ship full of humans. Danger Will Robinson indeed.

Other than painting themselves into that corner, Season 2 was pretty enjoyable. The cast is well balanced in their performance and screen time, and I like how they are starting to build a good back story for the Robot race. Looking forward to Season 3.

Tried one episode. Fricking terrible. I hate how they turned it into a many family drama thing instead of just the Robinsons. Just goofy AF and not in a good way. It's definitely a kids show.

I'd rather watch the mediocre film with Gary Oldman and Joey Tribbiani again.

Did you watch any of season 2? I thought his character was much less whiny and annoying than season 1.

I agree, but watched 2 seasons because people told me it was great. Very lazy writing, really don't get why people like it. Maybe just because you've seen everything else so you suffer through it? (guilty)
