That show in season 1 was one bad show. I thought they would bury it quietly but alas, here we go again. I'll watch it whether it is bad or not, which it was for S1. Bad!

I liked it. Not the greatest show but I was entertained. I remember the original, so that added to the fun for me.

Man, every woman on this show has a giant rack, and in here for it.

Yeah I'm digging the bi racial chick.

Netflix has tons of programming options for people of all ages, but they have very few originals that are geared for the whole family. LiS is an attempt to fill that void.
I think they accomplished their goal. It’s a solid enough show for adults, but it also can be entertaining to a 10 year old.

Funny you should say that. My 10 year old son and I have been watching this series.

That's because while you were watching it, he is watching you

Nah, my little guy loves him some scifi, robots, and space travel.

I finished the second season last night. It was pretty solid. I think I still enjoyed season 1 a little more. This season seemed to be all over the place, and it was non stop. There was some great character development though. I'm interested to see where they take it in season 3.

I'm up yyo ep 9 and agree. I like S1 a little more because the didn't have as many sub-plots going on and my favorite plot (the robots) wasn't as front and center. I think the Parker Posey (Dr. Smith) character is great. I am constantly thinking why don't they just kill this bitch then she becomes useful/pivotal to the "mission".

LOL. That was the plot at the start of the original series, but eventually Smith's medical expertise was no longer the reason for keeping him. The Robinsons were jut good people who couldn't see themeselves killing or stranding someone in space.
Don, on the other hand, was more than willing to put a blaster to the back of Smith's head.

Yeah that's another thing I didn't like was the robots were essentially the main plot for the second season, and seemed very forced. The Robinsons are what make this show so great. They're ability to rely on each other and trust each other. The robot is great, but the don't have to revolve the whole show around him.

I enjoyed both seasons but I agree that the robot thing was a bit forced
And Will Robinson is really annoying in season 2 because of this IMO

I always been one of those space fans, and I have to say the way they make new worlds is just amazing. It down right gorgeous really.
I noticed that they tried to force the bond between Will and Doctor Smith like the original show but end up giving it to Penny Robinson which appear to work a lot better.
I also noticed they tried to make the mother both the compassionate person with the children while super math wiz/engineer in Season 1 but have decided to delgate it like the original show.
In the Original show the Mom was compassionate while the dad was the engineer fix it person. Dad was just muscle in part 1 of the reboot but part 2 he took over the role of the original mom while the new mom took over the role of the original dad.
They also got more of Doctor Smith "love to hate that fricker." vibe going on now. Wanted to jettison this Doctor Smith but god damn it she redeem herself down the line like the original doctor smith. Love to hate or hate to love they nailed Doctor Smith.
Overall not bad and the cliff hanger is typical Lost in Space stuff. They ALWAYS ends it off on a cliff hanger.

S2E1 OK. Parker Posey looked pretty good for a 51 year old.
