I'm talking about STAR potential as in leading roles.
Emerson may be the biggest acting talent on the show but he will be a character actor, not a lead.
I could see O'Quinn becoming a huge movie star if he wanted to.
Holloway has huge action star potential or bad guy potential in movies.

I'd say Josh Holloway, Terry O'Quinn, Michael Emerson, and Emilie DeRaven I think will adapt best to the cinema. I think Terry will take mostly military and villainous roles, Emerson will almost solely be a villain, and the other 2 can do whatever role suits them.

I mean, what can they really do with him right now? He isn't a candidate and he doesn't want to get off the Island. All he can do now is wait until MIB to reveal his true colors in order to attack, which happened last episode.

I heard that they wanted to bring back Mr. Eko for the finale, but couldn't get a deal done in time.

Damon and Carlton weren't that eager to either since they and much of the rest of the crew are not on good terms with Adawale. I think they will go out of their way to give roles to the actors they liked over the course of the show (Harold Perinnau for instance), but not for ones they disliked. If the writers really wanted Eko on the show, they could have gotten Adawale just before anyone since he was literally begging to be put back on the show. That was just a polite way of saying to the press that Eko is basically the only main actor not returning to the final season.

The writers like Harold more than Adawale, which is why they gave him the role. Trust me, if they were able to fit Charlotte and Michael in, then they could certainly have fit Eko in.

i hated Eko... i may be in the minority... but i think a lot of that stems to the fact that he gave trouble to the writers and crew.
