At the very least the OP should change the title of the thread. No one is discussing the show. It's just the same 5 people taking mediocre shots at each other.

I saw Grace Randolph's review of the first two episodes on her Beyond The Trailer page. I fully expected a positive recommendation, but she had very mixed things to say about it. She went so far as to say that Galadriel is the worst character in the show and the actress who plays her does a poor job doing it.

Again, I don't know how many people have to drill this into your brain that LOTR can't be destroyed. All the books aren't being burned. Nobody is taking them out of libraries or off the internet.
