As someone who works in Healthcare, I think most people would be surprised how easily you can just waltz around facilities without being questioned.

As for the movie, I liked it alot. It was one of the better horror movies put out in a while.

I thought it was well made. It had good pacing, and it didn't rely on cheap scares like every modern horror movie. I agree the conclusion of the story left more to be desired. I thought it could've went a few different directions that would have pushed it from a good movie to a great movie.

There was a slight feeling of disappointment afterwards, but that's mainly because I went in very hyped. It's the first movie I've seen in theaters in probably 5 years or so, and how it started I felt like it had the potential to be an all-timer.

I also didn't like the mom character. That wasn't a strong choice imo.

If you are wearing a stethoscope and carrying a clipboard you will rarely be questioned

That was one of the creepiest things I’ve seen in ages. Just nightmare inducing.

I cant tell if I liked this movie or not.

The atmosphere was great, almost looked like a Fincher movie.

Not sure about the ending, I left more disappointed than anything I believe because the hype was so insane.

I need to see it again.

Satanic metal balls inside dolls is a wild plot device .

I did not think we were going there.

Yes, the ending is the main issue even for those of us that enjoyed it.

I can promise you at big medical facilities you aren’t getting in without showing ID and showing up during visiting hours, at least in the ICU

As for the movie, I thoroughly enjoyed it. One of the most unsettling movies I’ve ever seen personally and Cage was perfect

I can't believe the medical ID is the main point of discussion for this movie. That scene is the least of this movie's problems

I know .

About a page full of the protocol to get in and out of a hospital.

Not one word on the satanic metal balls.

I went and saw it today and really liked it. Sure, the more I sit and think about it the more plot holes I come up with and the more I question the supernatural choices. The silver ball was the silliest of all, to me. I just feel like they could have left that out completely and it would have worked just as well, the other elements would have been enough (satanic cult, voodoo, black magic, etc).

One thing this film did so exceptionally well was the framing of every shot. They created so much tension and anxiety just because you were constantly looking for something in the background. And best part of all, they really didn’t even use it to scare you much at all. Just left you thinking they would.

Just watched it. Really dug it. I don’t really care about plot holes in movies like this. For me it’s about the atmosphere, and Norman Bates’ sons did a really solid job of creating a twisted one.

I wish this was released in the fall or winter. Felt wrong watching it in the middle of the summer.

Thinking on this some more and I wonder if there is any chance at all of another film? Not sure of it’s box office numbers.

If they do get to make another film I hope they decide to do a prequel. I think finding out about LongLegs and his origin story would be much more interesting than any sequel they could try and force.
