At BRHS there was this substitute teacher there from time to time we called Sprockets because he looked like Dieter, always wearing black turtle necks and glasses.

SNL in the very late 80's until the mid-90's were the best years. Carvey, Myers, Nealon, Rock, Hartman, Farley, Medows, Sandler, Schneider, etc. was a great cast.

IIRC, the skit originally had Van Halen's "Beautiful Girls" guitar riffs playing (oh, the irony). I guess they lost the licensing rights and had to replace it with a crappy generic guitar riff.
