I can barely make out the "nooooo" from Luke, and I can barely make out the "this is your first step" line from Obi Wan. The audio quality is pretty crap in that video too.

So we need another movie to explain key plot holes in this one? I think you have me confused with someone else. I'm just as big a Star Wars fan as most on here, but can still look at the films objectively. I saw it again yesterday to see if my opinion would change with another viewing, it didn't unfortunately.

In my opinion, Kylo did save her but then Luke came, killed all the Knights of Ren except Kylo and he had to flee. Luke then takes Rey to Jakku.
I agree that the temper tantrums could have been done better. Instead of making him look menancing, he looked dumb and it was used as comic relief which was a poor decision. I hope in the next one we have a suped up version of Kylo. More rage, more power, more unstable, more dangerous. He has a lot of potential.

Drop Luke off where, on the island?

If this is the case, then Kylo dropped her off there 15 years ago. 15 years is a long time for someone's heart and opinion to change.
Very possible, but that would be something that needed to be answered. As of now, that is an inconsistency to the theory that Ren save Rey/knows Rey.

here's the scene.
I hear Luke yelling, "Nooo!" and I hear Obi-Wan at the end. I have watched that scene at least 10 times and can't hear Yoda. Anyone know where it is?

Yes. On the island. Just a thought.

I mean, they had said he had disappeared to go looking for the original Jedi Temple, so I don't think he was just there the whole time. They made it seem like he was just off on his own trying to track down a location from what legends and text were still left.
However to entertain that thought, do you have someone in mind you are thinking could have dropped him off?

Not really.
I know han said it was believed that's where he went. I'm sure he just kind of went into isolation like Yoda.

A comment under the video says its at 0:37. But I still can't make it out.

I don't think you know what a plot hole is. A plot hole is an inconsistency or contradiction within a narrative that leaves no logical bridge between two plot points.
Intentionally leaving out certain exposition and not completely filling in back stories are not plot holes. It is intentional and the point is to maintain mystery for the sake of a later pay off.

I don't know about all of this but I think Leia is going to bite the dust in the next one and when a previously reluctant Luke senses it through the force....well.... His going to go ape shite on the First Order.

That would make a great comic or book series - Luke Skywalker roaming the galaxy alone, tracking down leads and dealing out asskickings to bad guys he encounters.

I doubt a whole lot of arse kicking was involved. with him kneeling with R2 in the flashback, and the vibe they have been giving, I would think he was pretty sick of it all. At that point in the Hero's journey where they decide violence will no longer solve their problems, that if they go away form it all, no more bad things will happen to who he cares about.
He'll have a point in the next two movies where that comes full circle, and he'll come back with a vengence (I hope).

It is interesting how polarizing of a character he is. I see his lack of maturity as a personel character flaw. He wants to emulate Darth Vader, and is incredibly hard on himself when he fails at it.
I think they did a good job of showing his lack of polish. He is powerful, yet raw. Fearsome, yet disrespected. It really intrigues me as to how they will build upon that.

This is what I think as well. Leia will get offed somewhere in at the mid point or at the end of Episode VIII. He will sense a disturbance in the force like never before and know immediately that she has been killed. More than likely at the end of the movie as he has spent the whole movie trying to avoid doing what needs to be done. The end of the movie will find him resolute to finish off the Dark Side without regard to his own preservation. He will be able to balance both the anger Welled up inside for so many casualties suffered (Obi-Wan, his aunt and uncle, his father, Han, and Leia) at the hands of the dark side with the noble and heroic qualities of the Light side of the Force. He will become the most powerful Force being ever by harnessing this balance.
The prophesy will be complete as he brings balance to the force. Anakin was said to be the Chosen One. We will find that he was the Chosen one in the fact that he was chosen to sire the true force balancer.....Luke. Much like Abraham was the chosen one of God whose offspring would save humanity, Anakin is the chosen one whose offspring will save all species in the galaxy.

What is so inplausible about it that it makes you laugh?

So I gcould finished the book yesterday. During the saber battle, when Rey takes Lujes saber from Kylo, he says "It Is you." Don't remember if he says this in the movie, but at that point he clearly knows who she is.
I don't think Kylo brought her to Jakku, he surely would've figured out a force sensitive girl from Jakku when interrogating her.
My opinion from the start has been this. She's got an unexplained knack for fixing machines. She's an exceptional pilot. She's able to pick up a Lightsaber and hold her own against a more experience opponent. Her visions during the force vision were all to do with Skywalkers. She has to be Lukes daughter. Luke hid her on Jakku to keep her safe, much like Obi Wan did him on Tatooine. Luke had no family, so I bet we find out that the guy at the beginning that Poe met knew Rey as well.
BTW, both Jakku and Tatooine are in the iPhone dictionary.
