leave her on Jakku? Didn't they just have a huge battle on Jakku? Where does that batle fit in the time line?

The Battle of Jakku took place 1 year after Return of the Jedi. Rey was born 10 years after Return of the Jedi and brought to Jakku around age 5 to 7. So a good 15 years have passed. Clearly no one takes Jakku seriously since Han couldn't find his ship that was sitting there for years.

In that picture it looks like one person is holding the same staff that Rey has. Just saying....

I thought those were non-functioning electric staffs from the prequels.

So they are available to find, purchase or scavange.

I'm starting to lean that way. Whoever the guy in the helmet is, he is definitely drawing back to kill Rey when she is saved by Kylo.

I'm starting to think she was in the academy and Kylo couldn't kill her like he did the others. Instead, he took her to a backwater planet and abandoned her there. Luke and company think she is dead all of these years. The only problem with that theory is you would think would be able to sense her all those years, and if he could, why he didn't go find her?

Wouldnt Kylo have known that the girl locked up in his interrogation chamber be the girl he rescued then abandoned?

Its a good theory but I feel Kylo would have been aware of who she was when he captured her. Also, with Kylo not being fully trained, who would have wiped her memory?

All good questions that I think can be answered.

Maybe he did recognize her. The line he says to her "I feel it too don't be scared" is really interesting

I mean there wasn't a prime reason for him to be like "I was the one who left you" or any of that. Especially when he wants her to join him at the end. Can have that dialogue later.

There are questions to every theory as to who left her on jakku. I just think the ones that arise if kylo did it are easier to answer.

And Han had no idea that was his daughter? I don't think so. No way that is Kylo's sister.

Yeah. I'm just spit balling.

I just can't see her parents, if it be Luke or Leia and Han, leaving her there. Also think it's interesting that she keeps saying waiting for her "family" and not parents.

The theory that kylo left her doesn't imply they are brother and sister

If the force vision was indeed Kylo saving Rey from the inquisitor, then she has to be an important figure in Kylo's life. Will be interesting to see how so.

There is supposedly a deleted scene with her at the resistance base, but Abrams thought it was unnecessary and did not add to the story.

Something I haven't seen anyone mention yet: in the scene showing the knights of ren in the rain, assuming that's what they are, Kylo Ren is the only one with a lightsaber.

Ren is supposedly the only force user.

Never said that. They are cousins in my opinion.

No. It is the 5th brother from Rebels.

Are there any screen shots of that part of the vision?

All those dead bodies really show that the size of the class of Jedi that Luke was training.

I ran across this fan theory which I hope to the heavens isn't accurate (and I'd be shocked if it is): LINK

The theory is that the dead bodies are actually Ewoks from when the Knights of Ren went to Endor to get Varder's helmet. I don't know how they got that theory from that scene since there are no trees or forest in that scene. But they did none the less.

This makes sense as Kylo snaps" What Girl" when he finds out that FN-2187 had help from a girl, like he knew of a girl on Jakku with abilities.

After going to the streaming site that sounds like a theme park on Washington's highest mountain, I found a decent screener and just watched that scene.

Some take aways.

I'm not sure that is Bespin, looks really dark to be Bespin.

She then falls and after she hits the ground we here the "NOOOOO" from Luke while he is on Bespin, but it could also be his reaction to seeing the Jedi academy destroyed because he obviously wasn't there when it happened.

After Rey sees this we see a strange man about to attack her.

After he gets but down, Kylo walks to her

We then cut to her being dropped off with Simon Pegg the alien and then her screaming "come back" then cut again to facing Kylo in the snow.

I wish the flashback had been more like what was in the rumors and leaks posts on redditt.

When it shows her actually being left on jakku does it show her look up at the sun that then kind of fades into the shape of kylos face plate?

Kylo Ren is heavily involved in that flashback for a reason.
