Giraldo was a genius...because anybody who could potentially be a world class lawyer and then be a world class comedian - has something special.

He apparently graduated from Harvard Law, went to Columbia before that.

Got hired by the most presitgious law firm on the East Coast...and walked away. From all that money and security because it wasn't him.

I always like stories on super-intelligent people who choose the hard road because they need to.

I read a few articles on Giraldo and apparently he needed to just break away from the law and go comedy - and he took odd jobs to do it.

I adore that man. One of the best at what he did. I respect what he did before too. Was a big time lawyer and decided to become a comedian because it showed off his personality. Much respect Giraldo. One of the funniest ever.

I love hearing the story from my coworkers about our company hiring him to play opening night of our consumer convention(all of our partners are there, think stuck up old rich people).

Apparently nobody who hired him knew what they were getting and told him it had to be PG. He came out and crushed it and did a normal set, and apparently the jaws of the crowd were on the floor. My buddy said most of the old hags got up and left and the younger drunk crowd stayed and was dying on the floor laughing.

He was told after the set he was blacklisted from that venue and ever playing for us again, lol

Wow. Thanks guys for the info. I never knew this about him. Much respect to the guy from walking away from that.

I am already 30 minutes into not being productive...damn you.

When he tells Adam Carolla that he looked like Pete Sampras with downs and the camera cuts to Carolla's face, I lol every time because it's so spot on.

He murders Flavor Flav

Dang you for leading me into watching this for an hour at work (with my headphones on of course). Or thank you is more like it.

Some of these jokes would never make it in today’s culture and that is just sad. Truly a work to behold.
