Looks very good and I have no problem with Shia Lebeouf. Who cares if he is a prick in real life. Trailer was not boring at all IMO.

Yeah, it looks like an unreasonable amount of hate for The Beef is blinding people's judgement, this flick looks awesome.

People just think it's cool to hate on Labeouf they don't really have a reason, other than he can come off as a bit of a tool in real life. If you're casting a male lead in his mid-20's you could do a LOT worse than Labeouf. Plus he has a lifetime pass for me bc of Even Stevens

I'm actually a Shia fan, but I see what people are saying about it being boring. It just feels like the movie could end up moving really slow. I really hope not, because it looks like it could be great

I don't like Lebeouf in the same way that I don't like Michael Cera. Neither has ever ever delievered a solid performance or even portrayed a likable character. Maybe this film will be a breakthrough for Lebeouf in that regard.

Should have had Walken play the Oldman role, Michael rooker play the Guy Pearce role and send this baby straight to DVD.

Chances are, it will be "slow" relative to modern action movie standards but I can't imagine it would be boring, especially if you liked The Proposition, which I highly recommend if you haven't seen it.

I guess we'll just have to disagree. I thought Lebeouf was really good in Holes and Disturbia. He was solid in Wall Street 2 and Eagle Eye. Then Transformer's was all about the robots i don't see how you could characterize his performance as "bad." No actor in the world was gonna deliver an Oscar performance in Transformers. And the Indiana Jones was just a mistake from the get go but again if you're assigning fault for that movie he's wayyy down on the list

I mean I can understand that seeing that there is some reasoning behind it. But it cracks me up people saying they won't see this movie solely because he's in it. Like is it his fault Michael Bay and Speilberg made some crap movies. I mean he's technically a comedic actor so I don't know why people expect or hate on him because he isn't DDL. I thought he was a great fit for Transformers and it came out and everybody loved him and then Transformers 2 came out and everybody says he sucks. He was ok in The Greatest Game Ever Played if you just look at it as a typical inspiring Disney film instead of a movie trying to win an Oscar. Decent in Wall Street though the movie was meh.
