This inner city problems? They all vote Democrat and all have Democrats in charge in all these major inner cities for the past 40-50 years. WTF is the holdup?
Dude, you took offense at a true comment the lady made. Don't be so sensitive, buddy.

The coach nearly loses the game vs Garden City with his shitty play calling instead of running the clock out and the first thing he does after the game is gloat about his coaching ability.

She's trying to use their history as inspiration to change the situation. Why are you offended by this?

Thats part of the reason I have no sympathy for these guys.
Bruce said he was going to do what it took in all those interviews at home in Florida.
Yet, he didnt while he was in college. Yes, he got a little better in school, and that was surprising, but he never did anything other than what he wanted on the field, and never thought he did anything wrong when he will hitting people late or hitting guys out of bounds.

This show is not looking good for Jimbo Fisher.
It was a miracle that Winston made it through without having to do juco.
Jameis Winston
John Franklin III
De'Andre Johnson
Malik Henry
Good lord Jimbo Fisher. Do they not evaluate character AT ALL?!!!!

They didn’t show it in the episode, but I think the ref called him for an unsportsmanlike penalty. It looked like he was reaching for his flag before the camera cut away.
The one thing I’ll say about Buddy Stevens is that he wouldn’t have put up with Malik’s bullshite at ALL.

Just finished episode 3 and I’m glad they beat Garden City. However, the reason I started to hate rather than dislike Buddy was because of the way he treated his assistants. And this is where Brown is starting to lose me. He’s not very organized and he doesn’t seem like a good guy....but trashing his assistants is a one way ticket to burning a ton of bridges and finding yourself working at fricking Dicks Sporting Goods because you trashed every coach on the sidelines.
You can trash players, other teams coaches and refs, but to do that shite to your own guys who are putting in just as much time as you is lowball, grease shite. Several instances in Episodes 2 & 3 where that happened. I would never be able to have respect for a guy who constantly berates me for silly shite. They were up 27-14 and had the ball above midfield and the fricker calls a pass. His best buddy and roommate says just run the ball and kill the clock, we have the game in the bag. Brown goes “Hey! FRICK YOU I KNOW WHAT THE FRICK IM DOING MOTHERFRICKER” Then Henry proceeds to throw a pick, letting GC back into the game and they damn near won it. Your assistant coaches are there to help, be a voice of reason. The good ones listen or just say “I got a gut feeling I’m going to go with this and call this.” Not berate the coach. That just reeks of immaturity
In other words, Brown is an asshat and won’t be there for very much longer treating assistants like that. At least Buddy was fun to listen to when he went off on a tangent and could actually coach

Also just watched the 4.1. They did a good job on that, wished they would have explored the problems between Buddy and Marcus more.
Also seems like Isaiah didn’t know what was going to happen but wasn’t going to turn down any money when the guys flashed it in front of him and just went along with it.

Heh. If you don't like how he treats his assistants after episode 3, just wait until you get to episode 4.

I don't remember JF3 being kicked off of FSU's squad for something off the field and Henry went the JUCO route when Deondre Francois became the guy.

Marcus Wood has apparently been doing ok for himself in the administrative world at EMCC. He probably figured it would be best to not upset that by making an appearance on the episode.

I'm five episodes in so far:
This coach is too much. It's hard to believe he hasn't found a wife and is living in a house with another grown man at the age of 40
. He treats literally everyone like garbage, though I imagine a lot of this is acting hard for the cameras.
It's also clear that Brown knows what he's talking about the field. But doesn't have the assistant staff that Buddy had at EMCC (or the talent).
As far as likable characters go. Season three doesn't have too many. I like Emmit Gooden, the qb coach and the athletic trainer.
