I'm laid up too. Just finished Humans on Amazon. Really enjoyed it.
I caught that when it aired and I really enjoyed it too. Looking forward to Season 2.

Speaking of which, do you have HBO GO or HBO Now?
I don't but I thought about getting one for a month or two. I have totally missed out on the Game of Thrones series and True Blood.
If you end up getting HBO now I suggest season 1 of True Detective. Great show and only 8 episodes

Just finished Peaky Blinders. . I liked it a lot even though I'm not a big fan of that genre.

I'm in a similar situation (except I have HBO and don't have Prime).
On Netflix I'm just kind of starting. I've enjoyed The Tudors and have enjoyed a couple of comedies I missed the first time they were out - The Office and How I Met Your Mother.
I've given Marco Polo a try but so far it's not catching me.
If you get HBO, even if its for a short time you have tons of stuff I'd recommend - I love GoT so yeah, I think it'd be worth it for that. Plus on dramas, Rome is very good and I'll second the recommendation for True Detective S1. For comedies on HBO I enjoyed Entourage and Silicon Valley.

House Of Cards.
Once you do that one, Sons Of Anarchy. All Netflix, maybe prime too, but definitely on Netflix.
