Nothing sexual and no real gore. Violence-wise it's probably no worse than the electronic games kids play these days.

Sure thing! I really enjoyed it. Some of the fight scenes were pretty intense, but there were kids in the theater when I saw it. There is some profanity and the f word is used a couple of times.

Oooh. Not sure the wife is going to approve the F word.

I would probably disagree on a gore standpoint: there is some real gore in this movie. A 10 year old will be fine but there is two shots which are really kinda shocking to be in a pg 13 movie and another few which are very violent

Gore Spoilers:

A dude gets his leg ripped off on screen but vaguely in the distance and another guy gets fully impaled through mouth and torso

There's nonstop interracial gay sex. Also hundreds of bodies are ripped apart in the most gory fashion possible. The natives eat people alive too. I'd say only bring kids 8 and up to see this.

Its pg-13 so if you think Hollywood is overly concerned w/ children and how their movies might impact them then.....

Just saw it and wouldn't bring kids that age to it. But I'm probably more conservative on the violence thing than a lot of people and I don't really see many movies with a lot of gore.

Poster above noted the two most striking scenes but I'll note that it was pretty much nonstop violence. FWIW.

I am surprised it got PG13 considering how violent it was and throwing in the very out od place F Bomb.

I think a monster getting his intestines ripped out from his mouth was worse than both, even though it was non-human

Future reference. If you go to IMDB on the the website or app there is a section called Parents Guide. It will list every questionable scene, violence, nudity or language.

I had forgotten about that lol. But yeah, that isn't a human and it was very over the top chips I don't know if I'd say it's worse than the other two.

This movie won't scar them for life. It's not realistic enough for the violence to seem real. There's no nudity.
