I apparently need to rewatch that trilogy bc I don’t remember any of War. I don’t think I’ve seen it since in the theater

It’s the weakest of the three imo but it’s still a good movie. There’s some great moments and Woody is always good.

In a world of genetic diversity, sure.
In this world, only one out of every 500 humans survived in a very short period of time.
Without getting into it the weeds on the genetics of it….significant genetic diversity was lost. What if the gene that would have allowed resistence to v2.0 had an allelic linkage with a gene that didn’t let you beat Simian flu 1.0
Without diversity, pathogens can and have kicked the arse of 100% of the population before.
