I am not a fan of his comedy but will watch tonight regardless

In other comedy news it looks as though Theo had a complete meltdown while trying to film his Netflix special over the weekend

The first bucket pull - he was the host at Tapvillle when I went a few weeks ago.

Tony’s been on a roll with solid guest an episodes. Also it’s evident he wants to smash Sarah.

Glasses on/off guy goes from sleeping in a room with four mfers in bunk beds and working at Dutch Bros, to being able to make a living as a golden ticket winner. Added a little english on it by solving a Rubik's cube.

He was good, but I didn't think he was golden ticket worthy. The old Forrest Gump guy and Timmy Tickles were good too.

Yeah. He had a great set and he has a very good stage presence and delivery. Almost like a mixture of Gaffigan and Gillis. But I’d hope to see more minutes before getting a golden ticket.

How many guys out there busting arse and struggling to get traction, then it all comes down to getting pulled out of a bucket.

Maybe the ultimate open competition.

What other competition is there where all you got to do is show up?

I think they just need people that can fill in and do minutes when needed. All of the normal regulars are on the road a lot. They didn’t even have a mid-show regular or golden ticket winner this episode.

And I think it's no coincidence that we're on a run of solid shows. More bucket pulls and less planned sets are usually better episodes.

Looked like the dude never expected to win a golden ticket. Got a sense that a huge weight lifted off his shoulders when it all set in as his day to day life just got 100x easier. Will get booked and won’t be scrounging for work.

He definitely appreciated getting the golden ticket. Hopefully he has more good minutes.

Yeah. His style is very different but I like what he's doing. A lot of what makes him funny are gags / callbacks specific to Kill Tony. Would love to see what a full set looks like.

He did a show in Lafayette about a month ago and I was bummed I couldn't make it. Interestingly enough he was a last minute fill in when Casey Rocket backed out. I've never much cared for Casey but would've loved to have been able to see TNB. Lafayette must've felt the same because the show went from low sales to packed once they swapped.

Anyone want to take some bets on how many sketches he makes it into? I’d be surprised if he gets in more than 2.

I’m really curious how he is going to fit in with the rest of that group.

He may just be carried for a while until he demonstrates he can portray a character other than himself. So I’ll bet zero during the first episode (not counting an introductory segment). And maybe once when he plays a character strangely similar to Kam Patterson.

He’ll be the most difficult hire to train not to use the n-word on air, and the second to do it since Chevy Chase.
