Jim Carrey's voice.
It reminds of an actor that I can't place. Hmmm.

Loved the first one, but Jim Carrey makes me unenthusiastic
Really? He might be the best thing about this.

Two of my girls about Hit Girl's age qualified for a major sporting event last year. I basically trained them myself. So, the night before, I let them watch it as their "team movie".
They were on the edge of their seats the entire movie. And, let me tell you, the next day they went ape shite crazy at the sporting event. Hey, the "team movie" is important. I actually think it helped. They kept calling me "Big Daddy" and saying they are about to go "Hit Girl".
They did. They are qualified again this year, but the sporting event is a month after the movie comes out dammit! Looks like I'll have to find another great movie for them to watch to inspire them. My wife wasn't too thrilled I let them watch it, but we do have a philosophy that they are going to hear and see these things anyway, so why shelter them? They know better than to use the language or do something stupid they've seen in a movie of this nature. This is the most over the G-rated movie they've ever seen, though.

I really liked the first one. The trailer looks like it will keep the story going in a good way. Hopefully the previews didn't show the best parts!

She'll be 18 for kick-arse 3 and I'm certain the director will take full advantage of it.

If I was the director, I would be careful.

I loved the first one. Part of it was because she was a young girl cursing and being bad arse.
That won't be as fun this time, but this still looks great

I know it's horrible but we were watching it one noght, and a five year old at the house snuck downstairs and watched it and we didn't realize it. Now still to this day it is her favorite movie, and every year she asks Santa for a butterfly knife.
(or as she calls is a knife that goes swish swish swish)
