And the ending was so predictable. I was trying to convince myself through the movie that Kent wasn't Soze, because that's just too easy.
When I hear people say that, it makes me think of the people that knew Bruce Willis was dead too.

The overall plot line was legit. All that happened. The names and random side stories that gave Kent a "backstory" like picking beans in Guatemala were all bulshit.

I didn't think the hangover was funny. I saw it in it's last week in theaters and had heard pretty much every single line at least 50-60 times. It's not the movies fault.
Not saying you didn't figure out the twist and what not but The Usual Suspects is a great movie. I guess it sucks you heard so much about it just like it sucked that I knew The Hangover before I saw it.
I don't deny that I may not have seen it coming if I hadn't known that there would be some kind of twist. But, other than the fact there was some kind of twist, I had no idea what the movie was about when I sat down to watch it. I knew nothing.

I agree with others that say that the ending has been so ingrained in pop culture that at some point I bet you have run across it, whether you remember it or not.
You may have seen it parodied on an episode of Family Guy, the ending of the first Scary Movie, or in some other movie or TV show.
I guarantee you've seen it. You just didn't know it at the time.
