Can't say I'm in love with that idea. I thought the story would be completely original, and there are too many remakes, sequels and prequels these days.
Everything else is pretty much original:
- This event occurs 30 years before the movie Alien.
- Xenomorphs apparently aren't involved.
- We get a whole new species of alien.
It really kind of is a standalone story.

Yea, I get how that was some what of a stupid statement, but it made sense to me.

Don't worry, I was down on it for being a prequel too, but the cast is amazing, I love the director, and the trailer looks badass. I'm getting excited for it.
