Don’t know the rules here. Didn’t know if i needed a spoiler alert on a show that’s a decade old.
Pretty good show til the last season. Then Wow. shite got intense AF. I knew it was gonna all come to a head but dam. I was anxious as hell the last 4-5 episodes. Only part I didn’t like was Wagenbach’s end. I thought for sure that the show was gonna end with him going home and having that Rita chick in his fridge or some shite. They kinda dropped the ball with that strangle the cat episode
No silver linings to this story lol. Everybody got theirs
Anyway, Chiklis & Goggins were fantastic. Glad I finally gave it a go

I will never forget the Pilot episode. I was thinking "ho hum, another cop show" and then Chiklis shot that other officer during the raid and I realized. This is something way different.
Where did you watch it? I may be up for a rewatch.

It's one of the best shows I've ever seen. Goggins and Chiklis were amazing. CCH Pounder was good too, especially in the final seasons.
Vic's final day at the precinct was intense as hell, especially with Ronnie being dragged away after finding out Vic betrayed him.

Yeah, Terry Crawley's murder set the stage for the entire show, start to finish.

Excellent show. Two things that stuck out to me:
-The look of pure relief when, after holding everything together for so long, getting his immunity.
-Forest Whitaker's wife's pussy was sweeter than butter.

Crazy that Michael Jace is doing 40 years for killing his wife. She was a runner- he shot her in the legs first before finishing her off.

I hadn't heard of this, so I looked it up.
quote:
So on May 19, 2014, when his wife arrived home, Michael shot her in the back. He had been waiting for her to come inside, holding the gun, looking to take her life.
But he didn’t stop at shooting her, he taunted April, “You like to run so much. Why don’t you try running to heaven?”
Then while their two young sons aged 8 and 5 watched, he shot her in each leg.

Vic was one of the OG anti-heroes of tv, which made the show so unique at the time. It’s kind of funny how you rationalize all of Vic’s actions along the way, then Then you get to his confession scene where he’s bargaining for immunity and realize how terrible he is

Wow. So spot on. I was still pulling for him til the end sayin, he only did it for his family. Kinda like dexter, except dexter really is a good dude.
And you can’t tell me no different

Holy shite, I was like “which one was he”. Last one I was thinking of. Prolly the nicest character on the show

The only thing I remember being pissed about was that the blowjob info on vics boss was never used.

Such a great show. Shane's final scenes were absolutely brutal and gut wrenching.
The only difference between the Strike Team and the criminals is that Vic & Co. wore badges. That's kind of the point of the show, how blurred the lines can be.
