It was trending on Twitter today.

You might need to accept that maybe more people care about it than you want there to be.

I know it is hard getting older, and realizing what you "know" may not be as popular as you had always believed. But that is all part of the life experience.

Then, when they do put out original content like Elio, no one will go to see it.

I encourage everyone to go see it, because it’s excellent.

Is the story trending on Twitter? Or are the (surely) very real people who seem to care that SJ has an opinion about the movie roles she ultimately takes, and who refuse to see jurassic world rebirth because of that opinion, trending on twitter?

Because a story trending on Twitter about an actor does not equal people changing their minds about going to see a movie.

It was.

Brie Larson faced backlash, which I felt was undeserved, for far less caustic statements

But this, people won't care about. . .because the world has softened?

Did you even read the article? She stated that in the past she and other women were in large part hired for their looks but that's becoming far less common than it used to be. She also talked about role models for young girls changing as well.

Just look at how they had women superheroes in the 2000s with Invisible Woman and Catwoman compared to now. She said she's happy that things are changing.

So it currently has the third “best” score in the franchise? Yikes.

And look how Hollywood is suffering.

Coincidence?

Looks like you didn’t even read what I posted.

Scarlett should stop being a hypocrite & follow Ali Larter’s example. Be proud of her goods & show it off.

They should just reboot it completely. But wait 10’years to do it.

First 2 still work. somewhat, because Michael Crichton was still alive to help out with the screenplay.

It is, in a way. The Jurassic World storyline is basically killed off.

Spoiler alert: it's not.

More of a commentary of how hard I’ve noped out on the franchise. Didn’t even watch the last one, maybe two? I forget.

(Now I remember, it was the one with Jimmy Buffett and the kids in the giant hamster ball. Just trash)

Thought I wanted to see it, but the previews didn't do anything for me. I hope the 13 year olds love it. They need movies made for them.

I'd like to see a jurassic world dominion where the dinosaurs run rampant eating everyone up like that zombie apocalypse movie. Even the brontosaurs and triceratops can be carnivores.

Disney executives are starting to get the picture. Here is a not terrible article that mentions Elio was originally a fig until Disney execs stepped in and said frick that shite. Director quit over it etc.

And it's not going to stop any sort of noteworthy amount of people from seeing it. Southwestern Kige, the one who brought it up in this thread and who gets his panties in a wad more than anybody on this site over stuff like this, literally admitted he's going to see it because of dinosaurs

10 million people could care about this and it wouldn't bother me. I used to really like Jessica Alba, but she has become an outspoken ladder puller about not hiring people based off beauty, after she got hired for her beauty of course. It's retarded and hypocritical. But if they came out with a Sin City 3 and Jessica Alba was in it, I'd be there day one in theatres just like everyone else not giving a shite about her personal views. Just like it will be with Scar Jo and Jurassic World.
