They really went out of their way to create a movie dumber than Jurassic Park 3. I haven’t seen the whole thing, but every clip I’ve seen is some of the dumbest shite ever. Just the mere concept of “going to save the dinosaurs” would never, ever be a seriously considered conversation.

You really don't think PETA would try and save them? The people saving them are basically the dinosaur version of PETA. There's dumb shite in this movie but that isn't one

Probably, but then again who listens to PETA? Ummmm, no one. They may protest it, but not a single person in Congress would give them any thought whatsoever.

Just like the tech used to make the dinosaurs in the first place would never have been used to make dinosaurs for a fricking theme park

JWFK is a fricking trash movie, but that's a pretty weak criticism of the movie.

You do realize the world we currently live in right?

I absolutely guarantee you that people would argue to save the dinos if this were a IRL situation.

I enjoyed JW:FK despite it not being a very good movie at all. I'm a sucker for dinosaur movies though, and have liked all the JW entries.

well i liked it for what it was - it was nowhere as good as the original or Jurassic world, but at least it was better than JP3.

I disagree. This movie was bad. The characters were bad. The story was bad.

I haven't seen it, but I did watch the Honest Trailer. I can't believe they killed the big dinosaur from the first movie. That is just shitty.

they're trying really hard to world build early in the movie to justify this

just put this in movie trailer guy voice

...imagine a world....where dinosaurs....are REAL

Honestly, it was bad to the point if fascination.

It seemed like Chris Pratt even knew this. He phoned it in.

The side characters were moronic stereotypes.

The end was just stupid. The little clone girl made me want to off myself.

The vibe I got from the movie was sort of tongue-in-cheek, in that they knew it was terrible and played up to that. I don't think the movie took itself very seriously overall, and I think I enjoyed it more because of that.

I saw it with low expectations and it exceeded the lowness. It was just worthless. Not even Aunt Claire could save it.

The really bleak thing is that many of the things that made it bad are the same things that appeal to foreign audiences. This movie made bank for that reason, so expect more of the same. Fast n Furious. Robots. It's going to be an artistically vacuous landscape.

But they’d be denounced as loons. Plus let’s not forget that there is another island with dinosaurs.... even though the movie did.

The thing that pisses me off is how good the first five minutes were and how the movie decides to say frick that let's go in a completely different direction

They made a good point that I hadn't even noticed when I saw it - why Owen and Claire's mentality had completely shifted.

Somehow Claire had become the animal-lover while Owen had become the cold, 'who cares if an animal dies' guy.
