You mean like how the humans eradicated the Burmese pythons, or nutria, or feral hogs, or lionfish?

Fair point, but those creatures aren’t driving humans to extinction like the trailer of this film has suggested.

Not to mention hugely different life history strategies (age to maturity, r vs. K selection, fecundity, breeding population size needed to sustain population, etc.) and size differences between the creatures.

The tiny things might slip through the cracks, but the big things, especially the deadly things, would not.

Ask the wolves of North America how all-out persecution campaigns go, and they’re merely a livestock nuisance more so than a human predator.

Yeah. We see the T-Rex in the zoo at the end of the last movie. That T-Rex wouldn't get to the parking lot of the zoo before it's killed.

As it currently stands, JP has run its course. Time to move on do something else with Dinosaurs. We don’t need a reboot we don’t need anything else revolving around Jurassic Park.

Still want a prequel film about the creation of the original Jurassic Park that follows the themes of the book. It's a pipe dream though because there's no money in it. It's sad that Jurassic Park started out as an intelligent storyline with adult themes and has turned into what it is now.

Skipped Fallen Kingdumb, but likely will watch this one, just to say farewell to the franchise.

Was the story lame? The CG dinos not realistic?

You’re talking 7+ billion with guns and shite vs. like 100 dinos

Consistently this idiotic thought comes up. It takes a massive gun that the general public can’t buy to take down an elephant or a rhinoceros. Dinosaurs would have far thicker hides and be far larger. Billy Bob from the bayou ain’t taking down a triceratops, let alone a TRex

No. They're just animals. Some had boney armor, but most didn't. Same thing which takes down a bull elephant would take down a T. Rex.

Just saw Dominion in IMAX. Wow! I can confidently say this is the worst of the franchise.

Also, the bad guy is made to look like Tim Cook and his super building is circular like Apple headquarters.

They should’ve stopped after the first Jurassic World

*Spoiler Alert*

The plot had little to do with man and dinosaurs battling it out around the world or learning to coexist and a lot to do with a bunch of frickin’ big arse locusts engineered to destroy crops and a teenage girl who’s a clone. And, of course, there had to be another dinosaur to one up the T-Rex like the Spinosaurus and Indominus.

I didn’t see the last JP movie, but this one is definitely the worst of the rest, IMO.

Just saw it. It was better than Fallen Kingdom, but I don’t think I would go out of my way to watch it again. Spoilers below.

Pros:
Callbacks to the original movie and books with Dodgson and Biosyn being the villains. However this Dodgson was nothing like the OG Dodgson.
Wide variety of new dinosaurs. They introduced some lesser known ones, which I thought was nice.
The somewhat repaired the Maisie storyline by giving her an actual mom. I liked her in this movie.
Bringing back Grant Sattler and Malcolm was a good idea because they made the movie palatable. I like that Grant and Sattler got a happily ever after.
Bringing back the Dilos. It was nice to see them make a return.

Cons:
Length, predictability, and lack of thrilling scenes made it kind of boring, which a JP movie should never be.
There were not many good kills. Random scooter guy was the best one which isn’t saying much. No good onscreen deaths which are supposed to be a staple of the franchise.
The plot was stupid. They should have named it Locust Park or something. You have the whole world of dinosaurs living among humans to work with and that’s what you go with? And at the end it says dinosaurs and humans/modern animals are just supposed to coexist. That would never happen.
The Giga was supposed to be this new big bad and it did nothing. It was slow and plodding and failed to make what should have been an easy kill of at least one of the good guys. I was also disappointed that it never killed a human.
Trevorrow just repeated the end of Jurassic World by having the T-Rex team up with another dinosaur to kill the big bad.
We only followed main characters who we know would live no matter what. I wish we had some new characters to guess if they would live or not.

Overall, the series kind of went out with a whimper not a bang. Which is a shame because there was so much to work with here, I just feel they kind of mailed it in for this one.
