I think he is funny, that is why I suggested him. However, Dennis Miller in in his 60s now. They probably want younger.

Dennis Miller would be an excellent choice except:

1) he's too intelligent for most of the current viewers

2) he's too conservative for Comedy Central

Goddamnit. Comedy centra really fricked up letting John Oliver leave. I love his new show, but wish he could have taken over for colbert or stewart and been on just about every night instead of just once a week.
