I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this question, but does anyone know of a way to listen to joe rogan podcasts on a phone as just an audio and not a video? I like to listen to these podcasts at work and opening up the youtube video every time is a lot of work and always ends up draining my battery. If anyone knows of a way to listen to it with only audio please let me know.

He knows what a podcast is, he watches them on YouTube. What he wants to know is how he can get just the audio version of it smart arse.

All of you down voters need to drink some coffee. It was a fairly obvious joke.

Have you seen some of the posts here recently?
It's increasingly hard to tell these days.

FWIW I didn't downvote, but I'm not sure how your post was a "fairly obvious joke".
eta: Actually I think I just got it . But it wasn't THAT obvious

I like to use the Castbox app for audio only podcasts.

I use Overcast app to listen to podcasts. It's way more organized and simpler than apple's own podcast app.

I was going to ask what advantages all these other podcast apps have over standard iPhone app
sell me on why I should switch

I have an android phone, and I really like the Podcast Addict app. I wanted to like Google Play because I use google apps for everything else, but it did not have near the functions of Podcast Addict.

i use "Castbox" from the play store. it has all the JRE podcasts and its free. lets you download full podcasts so you dont have to stream them which is helpful on long drives filled with dead zones.
i have this one as well because it has Your Moms House podcast on it.

The default iPhone podcast app was great at first but got harder to use with each version they put out. I found Overcast from recommendations here and it’s great. A nice simple interface and does what you expect it to do.

You dont even need an app.
Just go here:
https://podcasts.joerogan.net/
And click download this episode.
It will be audio only
