I don’t know if I’ve ever pulled harder for a contestant in my life. I did not want to ever have to look at that Melissa McCarthy-looking clown f*cking show ever again. She was the most annoying f*cking c*nt the show has ever had. I was really worried when she had exactly half of what the champion had going into Final Jeopardy. Thank God she got it wrong and he got it right.

I didn't hate her but I was still rooting for Matt. I wish her well in life but I will not miss her on Jeopardy!

I'm impressed that Matt bet the dollar. He could have bet zero but then would've had to risk a fastest-buzzer contest in a second Final Jeopardy.

That's also a pet peeve of mine. To me, Final Jeopardy should be final. If two people tie, pay them both. Or don't call it Final Jeopardy.

Freaked me out when she was up five or six grand early. She gave him a run for his money. When he was slobbering all over Matt, you would have thought Joe Buck would have acknowledged she did better than anyone else has against him.

I think it was Wednesday's show.. A contestant announced that she would donate her winnings to the some bail relief fund. She said " They really need it".. She finished with a big ole goose egg...

Second place contestant gets $2000 and third place $1000 no matter how much they finished FJ with.

That show was a proverbial nail biter.

My wife was really annoyed by Melissa, but she seem liked a happy competitor to me.

Great interview link for those interested:

Q: You ring in very quickly but seem to take a long beat before answering. Is that a strategy?

Amodio: Yes. I'm a big believer in measure twice, cut once. I'm very worried that I'm going to know it, or I'm going to think I know it, and then say it. And if I just took one extra second to pause and doublecheck my work, I would have the correct answer. So it's just out of an abundance of caution. I'm not going to let hastiness turn into sloppiness.

GO MATT!

I know it’s internet cool to bust on Joe Buck, but he was by far the best guest host for Jeopardy. Always kept up the pace with no awkward pauses. He has enough wit to inject some humor in the game. I think he did a good job.

Joe Buck brings that "keep it rolling" feel.. very smooth no bumps. I liked David Faber, he is the prototypical game show host. Maybe they are just looking for someone different. Mayim Bialik seemed a bit condescending at times..

That’s quite the overreaction to a person you’ll never meet

I’m pretty much rooting against Matt every day when the new season starts. This dude is about as charismatic as wet toilet paper

It took a little while for me to get used to Austin Rogers. But over time I grew to tolerate if not even enjoy his schtick. I can guarantee you that I would never have gotten used to this Clown Show looking f*cking freak.

She was a little different, but she just seemed to be enjoying herself. I didn’t find her obnoxious. You sound like an angry dude to be honest.

I also thought Joe Buck was really good. And I say this as someone that is typically indifferent about him.

Agree. One of the things that most, if not all, of the guests hosts lacked is the ability to create or enhance drama. Some of the shows with other hosts were dull and empty. Buck is certainly used to understanding the drama of the game in front of him and working with it.

I even think Matt, who at times seems very low key and quiet, came out of his shell with Buck. There was a life to the game that I haven't seen in quite a while. Mike was pretty good with it, but Buck was better.

I'm not a fan of his, but he grew on me as a host. As someone else said, he kept it rolling.

Yeah, I don't know why some people hate him so much but he was great on Jeopardy! The best so far by far.

I do not get the love for this guy. He makes me cringe. I am sick that he will be the permanent host.

This contestant is a poster child for mental illness in this country. It’s a “hey look at me I need some attention”! Her appearance was a choice, a conscience decision. Very sad. Contestants like this will ruin this show.

Thought Joe Buck was a natural. Show went smoothly and was entertaining. If ever offered a chance to host the show not sure he would take it or how long he would stay.
